Montesano’s boys went 2-3-4 to run past the field and win the boys team title at the Tenino multi-team meet on Oct. 13.

Jake Mustard took second overall to lead the Bulldogs at 16:53, with Logan Clements and Connor Parkinson right behind him. Montesano cruised to the boys team title with 32 points, with Rainier second at 63.

Freshman Elizabeth Hunley led Montesano in the girls race in 10th overall.

Montesano head coach James Edwards cited Tristan Bodwell and Braden Stowers for PRs and Hunley for her race.

Montesano hosts the Evergreen 1A League meet at Lake Sylvia State Park on Oct. 20.
