Juan Theodore Johnson of Aberdeen passed away Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia surrounded by his family. Juan was born Nov. 4, 1942, in Raymond, Wash., to Glen and Doris (Jennings) Johnson. He was raised in Raymond and graduated from Raymond High School in 1960. Juan graduated from Grays Harbor College in 2007.
On May 1, 1970, Juan married Letha May Rasch in Aberdeen, she survives him at the family home.
Juan had worked for Wasson Buick &Cadillac for 37 years, retiring in 2010. He had served as past president of the International Machinist Association.
Juan was an avid hunter and golfer. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed attending nearly all of their sports, music and other activities.
In addition to his loving wife Letha, he is also survived by his sons, Wayne Lloyd and daughter-in-law Cindy Lloyd of Montesano and Ron Lloyd of Bellevue; daughter Carmen Eucker, son-in-law Don Eucker both of Aberdeen and daughter-in-law Jessie Carter of Aberdeen; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by son Allen Carter Jr.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 17, from 1-4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Montesano, Wash.
His family has asked that any gifts or donation be made on behalf of Juan Johnson to the American Cancer Society.
