Aug. 2

Reckless act or driving. Devonshire Road and Central Park Drive, Montesano. 1:21 p.m. EB from location — a silver car is trying to get other vehicles to rear him. Is stopped in front of vehicles while traveling. Occupied by two younger males.

Unlawful display of weapon. 700 block of East Main Street, Elma. 10:11 p.m. Male approached the reporting party, asked if he worked here, and the male walked away — male had a truck parked in the back lot, threatening reporting party with knives for following him, displayed two knives.

Traffic hazard. East Satsop Road and Satsop Riviera Loop, Satsop. 2:42 a.m. Mattress in the roadway, blocking the SB lane, just south of the Riviera Loop. Has been removed.

Aug. 3

Rollover accident. East Beacon Avenue and Montesano-Elma Road, Montesano. 5:53 a.m. Tan Chevy Tahoe rolled over, now in the ditch, reporting party is out of the vehicle, not injured. Vehicle is on it’s side in the ditch. Single occupant.

Domestic violence act. 100 block of Hurd Road, Satsop. 11:38 p.m. Son just punched reporting party in the chest, refusing aid. Son has since left on foot.

Aug. 4

Noninjury accident blocking. South Bank Road and Delezenne Road, Elma. 9:32 p.m. Vehicle vs. cow, cow got back up and is now walking down the roadway. Vehicle is black Subaru — damaged. Cow is north of intersection.

Reckless act or driving. State Route 8 WB MP 6, McCleary. 10:43 a.m. Black Maserati almost side-swiped another vehicle and almost hit the reporting party due to tailgating. Either intoxicated or text and driving.

Rescue needed. 100 block of Minkler Road, Montesano. 6:46 p.m. Reporting party and two females in inflatable kayaks, too exhausted to continue. Believe they are battling the incoming tide. Currently hanging out in some reeds on the river edge. All occupants have been rescued and are off the water.

Aug. 5

Firearm complaint. 100 block of Evergreen Village Lane, Elma. 1:32 p.m. White male, red hair, black hat, gray/black shirt — jeans with suspenders riding a bicycle shooting a BB gun or pellet gun.

Aug. 6

Animal problem. 100 block of Clemons Road North, Montesano. 3:22 p.m. Found 2 pit bulls running loose on reporting party’s property. All goats and two chickens are dead. They were in a fenced area. The dogs are now dead, as she shot them. Never seen the dogs before.

Aug. 8

Suspicious person. Montesano-Elma Road and Barrett Road North, Montesano. 8:15 a.m. White male, 35 years old, gray and black sweatshirt, lying in the ditch. Suspect looked around neighbor’s barn.
