Harassment. 400 block N. 11 St. 9:42 p.m. Known subject yelled at reporting party and tried to grab her. She knocked on door of residence and is waiting inside for police.
Sept. 3
Assault. 300 block W. Main St. 2:07 a.m. Officer was flagged down in front of tavern for fight between patrons. Neither party wanted to press charges.
Subject stop/field interview. Railroad tracks south of SR 12. 9:47 a.m. Two subjects walking on tracks, looking for a friend who lives in the woods. Given verbal warning regarding trespassing on railroad property.
Theft. 400 block W. Martin St. 5:52 p.m. Gardening items stolen from shed overnight including a bag of EZ Lawn Seed, weed killer and a seed spreader. Items valued at $100.
Sept. 4
Disorderly conduct. 800 block E. Main St. 4:23 a.m. Female guest locked out of room and knocking on other guests’ doors. Said she was visiting her nephew, went out for a smoke and forgot the room number. Front desk could not locate a guest with nephew’s name and she was asked to leave. If she returned, she would be trespassed.
Burglary. 200 block N. F St. 9:45 p.m. Reporting party allowed an acquaintance to enter his residence and now some items are missing including a knife from Belize with an eagle head on the handle and a small green propane tank.
Agency assist. GHC Fairgrounds. 9:57 p.m. Assist county with locating a disorderly subject. Heavy-set, bald, white male trespassed from races said he was going to smash up police vehicles. Unable to locate.
Sept. 5
Harassment. Elma Police Station. 11:51 a.m. Reporting party states his girlfriend’s ex is stalking him and her around town. Does not approach or speak to him but follows him. Has also followed to Olympia. Girlfriend is afraid of ex.
Suspicious person/circumstance. 300 block S. Third St. Subject asking customers to pay him cash if he purchases their items with his debit card. Forties, white male with goatee, wearing baseball cap, black coat and backpack. Unable to locate.
Welfare check. N. First and E. Main streets. 7:32 p.m. Male subject staggering around, barely able to stand. Made contact and subject refused assistance. Followed home to ensure safe arrival. Then, made contact with bartender who said patron had two beers and two shots. Advised to keep better tabs on that patron.
Sept. 6
Suspicious person/circumstance. Marion Road and Wakefield. 11:45 a.m. Vehicle parked next to propane tanks. Driver was securing loose cargo in the back of pickup.
Burglary. 200 block Division St. Chimney pipes stolen from residence.
Sept. 7
Suspicious person/circumstance. Eaton and E. Third St. 3:36 a.m. Vehicle parked in lane of travel with people sleeping inside. Advised to move to park and ride area.
Found property. 600 block W. Main St. 4:48 p.m. Found a bag full of drug paraphernalia left by a rider.
