• Stone Soup Artists, hosted by Donna and Ken Albert, is a weekly event, 8 p.m.-11 p.m., at Charlie’s Tavern (313 S. Main St.) in Montesano. For musicians of all skill levels to sing, play and perform. The performers are rotated every two songs. A PA with three microphones and various instruments are available. Must be 21 or older.

• The Grays Harbor Conservation District will hold a public meeting to discuss flooding and erosion programs for the Chehalis River at 6 p.m. at Sharon Grange in Oakville (912 South Bank Road).
• Washington Department of Transportation will host an open house to discuss safety improvements for the intersections of US 12 and Anderson Road and Moon Road, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Chehalis Tribal Community Center Gathering Room (461 Secena Road, Oakville). WSDOT is proposing a modern roundabout at the intersection of US 12 and Anderson Road.

• Elma’s Heat on the Street Car Show kicks off at 4 p.m. at 3rd and Waldrip streets. The main event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 6, beginning at 9 a.m.
