DUI alcohol or drugs. 1700 block Sylvia Lake Road. 7:42 p.m. Black Hyundai parked in day parking area, smoking brown substance from glass pipe. One male, one female.

June 17

Animal problem. 600 block Young St. Reporting party’s nephew has a dog that is not being taken care of and has a disease. Reporting party wants officers to ask for vet papers, as the reporting party doesn’t think the dog has ever been to the vet.

Suspicious person. 100 block E. Martin St. 9:27 p.m. 18- to 19-year-old male asked reporting party if he could come inside residence, was told no. Last seen on foot across the street. Requested extra patrols.

June 18

Non-injury vehicle accident non-blocking. 700 block Garden Hill Road. 9:26 a.m. One vehicle non-injury, non-blocking, vehicle is in the ditch. Driver is out directing traffic. In custody for DUI.

Trespass. 400 block Oakhurst Drive. 1:17 p.m. Four males climbing on rail cars, have opened one of the hatches on the bottom and white powder is coming out. Also are flying around a drone. All in early 20s. Non-hazardous material.

Illegal burn. 200 block N. 13th St. 2:57 p.m. Burn in the backyard, smells like trash being burned, smoke seen only. Fire extinguished.

June 19

Vehicle theft. 600 block W. Martin St. 5:34 a.m. Reporting party’s girlfriend kicked him out this morning. Reporting party left to brother’s house and when he returned to get his vehicle it wasn’t there. Signed stolen.

Burglary report. First block Menzo Haverly Road. 9:44 a.m. Burglary to three units since last night. Fence and locks cut to units.
