UPDATE (March 20, 2019): The Elma Police Department has no records of any domestic violence crimes committed by Ian Loveland.
UPDATE: The Lovelands have been located as of 2:07 p.m. on Oct. 18.
The Elma Police Department is asking the public to help locate three missing people.
Kitty Loveland and her 4-year-old daughter Iris Loveland and Kitty Loveland’s estranged husband Ian Loveland are all missing.
The trio left the Elma area on Oct. 17 to see a movie in Lacey.
The last contact received was from Kitty Loveland — a text message — saying they were in a movie theater watching the “My Little Pony” movie.
They were expected to be home by 5 p.m. but never returned.
An Elma Police Department missing persons flyer stated family and friends believed Kitty Loveland was going reluctantly due to domestic violence and Ian Loveland making claims of harming himself due to the dissolution of their marriage.
Both parties’ cell phones are turned off, which is unlike Kitty Loveland to do, according to the Elma Police Department missing persons flyer.
They were traveling in a white Chrysler 200 with Oregon plates 533-GVN. They could possibly be en route to Montana or Oregon.
If seen, call 911 or call the Elma Police Department at (360) 482-3131.
