VOLUNTEERS

Kelsey Foundation Business Week

Montesano High School is seeking community volunteers to take part in its Kelsey Foundation Business Week trade show.

The students have been divided into seven teams. Those teams, each with the help of a local business mentor, develop products for virtual sale during the trade show, which begins at 1 p.m. Friday.

Volunteers will act as potential buyers for products created by the teams. The exercise began on Monday.

Organizers ask that volunteers arrive by 12:45 p.m. Friday at the Montesano Junior / Senior High School library, 303 N. Church, for instructions. The trade show will take place in the junior high gym.

It’s the sixth year for the business week program, which is made possible with a donation from the Kelsey Foundation. Students have been using #MHSBW2020 in social media posts. If you’re interested in learning more about the students’ efforts, search #MHSBW2020 on Twitter and Instagram.
