Congressman Derek Kilmer received the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s annual Spirit of Enterprise Award on April 4, in recognition of his support for economic, growth policies.

The Spirit of Enterprise Award is given annually to members of Congress based on their votes on business legislation.

“I am laser focused on supporting our local employers and working to grow the economic pie for our region,” Kilmer said.

Greater Grays Harbor Inc. CEO Dru Garson was among the Chamber leaders from across the 6th Congressional District weighing in on the honor. “We are very appreciative of his ongoing efforts to strengthen and bolster our local economy,” he said.
