Vehicle lockout. 200 block E. Pioneer Ave. 5:22 p.m. Reporting party requesting assistance in reference to vehicle lockout. White Chevy Malibu parked near bowling alley. Officer unlocked vehicle.
Aug. 13
Missing person. 1700 block Sylvia Lake Road. 1:36 p.m. Officer was contacted by Lake Sylvia State Park Ranger and advised of group of hikers in city forest reporting they were unsure where they were and how to get back. Officer made phone contact with lost hiker who advised he was with group on hike and had gone up Brownie Trail and now is on road with a “D Line” sign. Has been long hike and was getting too hot and they did not want to try to back-track the route in. Officer located group and directed them to the Beach Trail back to their camp area.
Agency assist. 200 block S. Glenn St. 7:37 p.m. Bark outside window was smoldering, possibly from a cigarette. Fire department extinguished any hot spots.
Aug. 14
Littering/Pollution problem. 200 block E. Pioneer Ave. 1:26 p.m. People dumping garbage items next to the Goodwill donation trailer — not occurring now, items found today. Officer discussed options. Extra patrols requested.
Aug. 15
Citizen dispute. 1200 block E. McBryde Ave. 1:09 a.m. Intoxicated male neighbor is cursing and yelling. Reporting party also stated he was pushing female but then said never mind. Officer contacted subject who was outside residence and appeared intoxicated. Subject stated he and neighbor had an argument. Officer separated subject from a female subject and asked if she had been pushed or assaulted. Female subject assured officer that nothing had happened between her and subject and that male subject had only argued with the neighbor. Nothing physical had occurred between them either. Neighbors had requested no contact. Subject was told to not contact the neighbor and stated he would go to bed.
Disorderly conduct. 1200 block E. McBryde Ave. 4:49 p.m. Officer advised of intoxicated subject at location. Officer found suspect had been involved in a verbal with spouse and had been aggressive toward his neighbor. It was reported that suspect was trying to start fight. Officer contacted suspect and warned him about disorderly behavior.
Aug. 16
Suspicious circumstance. 1400 block Pioneer Ave. W. 9:56 p.m. Subject in unknown vehicle, driving around inside cemetery near the shop, also have flashlights.
Aug. 17
Civil dispute. 400 block Crass Court. 8:42 p.m. Reporting party requesting contact in reference to someone damaging her fence. Believes someone ran into it with car. Officer observed large section of fence knocked down. Later determined that male subject had hit fence with his boat trailer when he was coming home. He agreed to fix fence and reporting party was satisfied with result.
