Traffic offense. Main Street at Pioneer Avenue. 12:46 p.m. Subject stopped for equipment violation, arrested for driving while license suspended-3.
Nov. 13
Welfare check. 200 block W. Pioneer Ave. 11:40 a.m. Subject reportedly sleeping inside post office. Officer advised subject there was no sleeping in post office. Subject advised he was just warming up. Subject advised he was on his way to McCleary and left location.
Theft from vehicle. 100 block N. Chehalis St. 10:55 p.m. Reporting party called 911, said he heard what sounded to be the door on his vehicle close. He found that it was unlocked and someone had gone through the truck. He could not see anything gone. Reporting party went to neighbor to see if he had seen anything. Neighbor said his truck had been gone through as well and some change, about $1, was missing. Both parties were explained to lock their vehicles. No suspect.
Nov. 14
Burglary. 300 block W. Broadway Ave. 10:49 a.m. Garage was entered overnight. Several tools taken. Gained entry through unlocked man door.
Suspicious person. 500 block S. 4th St. 7:07 p.m. Disoriented female, possibly on drugs. Officer located female who was extremely intoxicated and wandering around town. She stated she and her husband had been fighting. Officer contacted husband who was also intoxicated and not even aware female subject was not home. Both parties were advised to stop drinking and stay home for the rest of the night.
Nov. 15
Assault, simple. 100 block E. Marcy Ave. 10:17 a.m. Subject at location assaulted reporting party — grabbed him and scratched the back of his neck. Occurred on the front porch. Subject is always yelling at people. Reporting party said he just walked past him. Subject issued citation for assault.
