Citizen assist. 100 block N. Main St. 6:39 p.m. Calling party advised that her cell phone had gone missing and was reported to the police department. A black Samsung LV10 was posted for sale by a female in Elma and the calling party requested to meet up (as a purchaser) to see if the phone is her missing/stolen phone. The seller described the phone as having no charger and a dead battery, and said she could meet at the Chevron in Elma. The seller stopped communicating when the calling party tried to get a time to meet with her. Calling party advised she could contact the police department when/if a meeting is going to happen so if the phone is hers, she can have the seller prosecuted.

Report of fraud/blackmail. 200 block S. 9th St. 10:29 a.m. Calling party advises credit card had been activated under her name and credit was being sent to a New York address. Calling party got in touch with issuing bank and card was canceled. No purchases were made. Officer advised calling party to contact creditors.
Nov. 3
DUI alcohol or drugs. 100 block Brumfield Ave. 12:27 p.m. Reporting party states intoxicated male subject just got into pickup with flatbed. Subject had difficulty walking and had urinated himself. Officer arrested subject for DUI and issued an infraction for no insurance.
Nov. 4
Suspicious person. Grays Harbor County Courthouse. 11:58 p.m. Officer advised by jail staff that a subject appeared to stash something in the trash can outside of the kitchen door. Checked MPD cameras and located said subject.
Nov. 5
Theft, property, other. 400 block E. Broadway Ave. 10:44 a.m. Fed Ex left packages at door on Thursday, and when reporting party went to get them, they were gone. Two packages. Total value, $85.
Subject stop. 300 block S. Main St. 11:55 p.m. Officer saw a large group of intoxicated people waiting for a ride home standing in the street. They were told to stay on the sidewalk and get home safe.
Suspicious person. 200 block E. Pioneer Ave. 5:59 p.m. Calling party advises male subject was at shop and was talking about a gun. Calling party does not want subject trespassed at this time. Information only.
Nov. 7
Suspicion. First block Poplar Road. 10:21 a.m. Reporting party says computer has been hacked by neighbor. Requesting phone call.
Theft from vehicle. W. Broadway Ave. at N. Fleet St. 12:23 p.m. Reporting party’s white minivan was broken into sometime past few hours. No damage but items missing. Suspect named in log.
Nov. 9
Utility problem. N. Fleet St. at W. Spruce Ave. 11:31 a.m. Large semi ripped wire down, subject seen pulling the wire — non-injury. Phone company notified by woman whose moving truck took down phone cable.
Agency assistance. 300 block S. Main St. 6:24 p.m. Officer responded to report of a fall victim. Fire department unable to locate. Officer found victim in front of VFW. Victim had a cut to her forehead from falling onto the steel plate covering the parking strip. Victim said she tripped on thick metal plate as she was walking around to driver’s side of her vehicle. The fall broke her glasses. Aid recommended stitches for wound and victim was transported by private party to receive medical attention. Alcohol not a factor in fall. Pictures taken at scene. Victim mentioned making a claim before leaving.
