Vehicle theft: 100 block of Pioneer Way. 7:14 a.m. Vehicle stolen from impound lot.
Weapons violation: 1700 block of Sylvia Lake Road. 2:08 p.m. Two men reported to be walking around with a handgun. Not pointing it at anybody.
Drug violation: 1000 block of Sylvia Lake Road. 3:28 p.m. Citation issued for minor in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Animal bite: 500 block of Broadway Avenue. 8:58 p.m. Dog being walked in backyard got away from owner, attacked neighbor’s cat, which ran off after owners got dog off it. Cat owners do not wish to press charges. Information taken.
July 4
Custody dispute: 500 block of West Simpson Avenue. Subject would not bring children for custody exchange. Reporting party only has electronic copy of parenting plan. Subject convinced children they don’t have to go for visitation. Advised both parties they should revisit issue with court as it seems parenting plan terms not being met.
Medical issue: State Route 12 eastbound at Mile Post 7. 3:56 p.m. Assist Washington State Patrol with possible DUI. Vehicle off road near Monte-Brady Road. Driver having medical issue, was transported.
Juvenile problem: 800 block of Devara Lane. 8:33 p.m. Juveniles attempted to steal a sign next to speed bump. Reporting party was able to stop them, but they fled.
Burglary: 600 block of North Ninth Street. 10:44 p.m. Determined that daughter broke out bedroom window to get belongings to move into her dad’s house. Case forwarded to Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Prosecutor for charge of second degree malicious mischief.
July 7
Unlawful display of weapon: 1100 block of Medcalf Street. 3:15 p.m. Suspect arrested for domestic violence assault.
Custody dispute: 100 block of Brumfield Avenue. 7:48 p.m. Ongoing issues with custody exchanges. Party was more than 3 hours late to exchange.
Disorderly conduct: 200 block of East Wynooche Avenue. 5:23 p.m. Subject is ex-employee picking up last paycheck, upset $32 removed to settle tab with business. Subject advised she could take business to small-claims court. Subject trespassed from business. Subject left.
