Congratulations are in order for a Grays Harbor local! Just two years after founding the Spivey Realty Group, Kevin Spivey was a finalist in REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 Under 30 award – a national competition representing residential and commercial agents, team leaders and brokers from every region in the U.S. As the only honoree in Washington State, Spivey brings both national attention and recognition to Grays Harbor real estate.

Founded in January 2019 by Kevin and Candice Spivey, the Spivey Realty Group (SRG) aims to make buying, selling, and investing in Grays Harbor real estate simple.

“Grays Harbor doesn’t experience the pressure-cooker competition, which drives innovation and improvement, like we’d see in larger cities. Grays Harbor residents deserve the best in every service field, and we’re doing our best to provide that for them in real estate,” says Spivey.

Listing the home on the local multiple-listing service and putting a sign in the yard is no longer enough. SRG uses modern techniques, including social media, internet-based advertising and marketing, professional photography, and staging to help folks sell in the simplest, most profitable way. And it’s working – sellers represented by SRG are seeing their homes sell over twice as fast as the county average – 9 days compared to 22!

SRG strives to simplify buying real estate, too. “By making sure we are educators and advisors for our clients, we strive to give people a better understanding of what’s going on in what can be a very stressful process. At the end of the day, we are not here to encourage folks to buy a certain house. We want to help you buy the house you want and make sure you are fully informed throughout the process – and know that we have your back,” Spivey comments.

The community welcomed SRG by voting them Best Real Estate Office in Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties every year in business (2019 & 2020), and what started in the Spiveys’ garage has grown to satellite offices in Westport and another in Hoquiam on the way.

But they are not done there – “We see so much opportunity in Grays Harbor, both in real estate and generally, and we have lots of plans in the works to that end,” says Spivey. “With our vision to simplify Grays Harbor real estate, that really opens the door to all aspects of real estate including renovating homes for re-sale and providing safe, clean, affordable housing for the community.
