WSU Extension in Grays Harbor County is currently updating the 2018 Farm Fresh Guide for Grays Harbor County.
The guide lists local farms that sell products they produce directly to the consumer. According to Dan Teuteberg, WSU Extension County Director, the guide continues to grow in popularity with more than 5,000 copies distributed last year.
The farm guide is published annually in collaboration with Grays Harbor Tourism and Greater Grays Harbor Inc.
The guide is updated at this time each year. For further information on how to get listed in the 2018 guide, call Kiley at the WSU Extension office, (360) 482-2934, no later than Feb. 24, 2018
Last year 31 individual farms were listed in the guide selling a diversity of locally produced products ranging from strawberries to buffalo meat.
“You can’t get it any fresher than when you buy it on the farm in which it was produced,” Teuteberg says.
