The WSU Extension of Grays Harbor County recently hired Kiley Smith as small farms educator.
A Harbor native, Smith graduated from Aberdeen High School and attended Grays Harbor College and The Evergreen State College. She has worked in small-scale farming and the produce industry.
”My goal is to support small farms, producers, distributors and community members with networking, marketing and educational opportunities,” she said in a prepared statement. “I am looking forward to getting to know everyone involved or interested in the local food system.”
