Spring has sprung, and hopefully, the sun is here to stay. The Montesano High School FFA Club is busily preparing for their annual plant sale.
This year’s sale is slated to be the “biggest and best ever,” according to organizers.
The sale begins on May 6 and continues through the month. Several varieties of plants and flowers will be available for purchase throughout the month of May: Million Bells, Bacopa and Fuchsia baskets; Sunflowers, Geraniums, Marigolds, Petunias, Begonias, Lobelia, Hotlips and Pansies; and for all of you vegetable farmers, there are starts of cucumbers, green peppers, chives and tomato plants.
The greenhouse is located between the north end of the high school and the junior high gym. It will be open to the public beginning Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to noon.
It will continue to be open the first three Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. to noon, and weekdays by appointment. To make an appointment call (360) 249-4041.
Don’t miss out on the sale. It’s a great opportunity to add some beautiful color to your yard or patio, while at the same time supporting the Montesano High School FFA program.
