•McCleary Timberland Library presents Tech Help for adults from 2-4:30 p.m. Learn or improve basic computer skills, or bring an ipad, kindle, tablet or phone to discover the ins and outs of the device.

• GriefShare at Montesano Church of God begins at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. and continues through 13 weeks. For questions call (360) 580-4621. Organizers are asking for a one-time donation of $25 to cover workbook costs.

• Montesano Timberland Library presents Play Group, 10:30 a.m.-noon for children. Songs, stories and play for children birth to 6 years with a participating adult. Arrival and departure times are flexible.

• Hoquiam’s 7th Street Theatre will show the film “Empire Records” at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6. Also on Saturday, April 8, at the same time.

• Sharon Grange in Porter will host its annual oyster dinner, noon to 6 p.m. Fried oysters, oyster stew, ham, coffee and pie. Adults $20, children 12 and younger $12.

• The Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals (HAVA) will hold a “Spring Tea” fundraiser, 1-3 p.m. at Willapa Harbor Community Center (916 W. First St., South Bend). Admission is $20. Lunch, desserts, garden/spring silent auction and raffle.

• Grays Harbor Fire District 12 is moving its normal monthly meeting for April from the second Thursday of the month to April 11. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the McCleary Fire Hall.

•The Friends of the McCleary Timberland Library will meat from 11 a.m.-noon in the library’s meeting room.

Coastal Raptors Executive Director Dan Varland will introduce guests to the various birds of prey that are native to the Pacific Northwest, discuss their habitats and explain how to identify each species of falcon, hawk and eagle.
