At the libraries
• McCleary Timberland Library will host play groups for children birth to age 6 with an adult. Arrival and departure times are flexible. Wednesdays, 10:30- 11:30 a.m. Feb. 14 and 28, March 14 and 28, and April 11 and 25.
• Elma Timberland Library presents family storytime Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 a.m., Jan. 3-April 25. All ages. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. Bilingual storytime will run Thursdays, 4-4:30 p.m., Feb. 1-April 26.
• Montesano Timberland Library presents family storytime Fridays, 10:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m., Jan. 5-Feb. 23.
• Oakville Timberland Library will host “storytime anytime” from Jan. 2-March 29. Drop into the library and ask a staff member to read a story.
• Adult winter reading at the Elma and McCleary Timberland Libraries, Jan. 2-March 15. For every five books you read, complete and entry form to be eligible for prizes.
