Coronavirus cancellations

Coastal Interpretive Center

Due to concerns about the coronavirus and as a precaution for our staff, volunteers, and the general public, the Coastal Interpretive Center closed their doors to the general public beginning March 16 and will remain closed until April 25. This date may be extended depending on further developments with the current health situation.

Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival

The governor has directed all schools to remain closed until April 27 due to trying to contain the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, we will not be able to hold our Shorebird and Nature Festival this year.

We are sorry for these cancellations, but are most concerned about stopping the spread of the virus and for everyone to be well and safe. We wish you all the best and will see you next year!

Montesano Community Center Lunch Program

Until further notice, the dining room at 314 S. Main will be closed. Hot meals will be available for take out at the parking lot entrance from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. All activities have been canceled until further notice. Call 360-964-4131 or 360-590-8253 for more information.

Razor Clam & Seafood Festival

The festival scheduled for the weekend of March 20 has been postponed until the weekend of May 30.

Pigs on the Wing Pink Floyd Tribute

The performance of Portland-based Pink Floyd Tribute band Pigs on the Wing, schedule for the 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam on March 27, has been canceled. At this point there is no reschedule date. All tickets will be automatically refunded in full through Brown Paper Tickets. You will be notified within the next couple of days directly through the Brown Paper Tickets system explaining the event cancellation and refund. Pacific County Emergency Management training

The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Skywarn Weather Observer training classes scheduled for March and April have been indefinitely postponed due to ongoing concerns over Covid-19, the agency announced Wednesday. These trainings will be rescheduled later this year.

100+ Women Who Care event

The event, scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge has been canceled.

Polson Museum sports-related lectures

The two sports-related lectures scheduled to be held at the Hoquiam Library March 19 and March 26 are now postponed until a future date as the library has closed to public gatherings. The museum is still open.

Aberdeen Parks and Recreation

All recreation adult basketball and volleyball leagues are suspended until further notice. Also, the City of Aberdeen and Hoquiam joint Easter Egg Hunt is cancelled.
