July 10
Domestic violence: First block of Devonshire Road, Montesano. 2:53 p.m. While fishing, reporting party says, they saw a white vehicle with a blue tarp over the roof and a woman yelling help me, help me and then she honked the horn twice. Female left on foot. Man’s leg was hanging out of the vehicle. Reporting party tried to talk with the female but said she was hiding in the bushes. Man taken into custody.
Malicious mischief: Elma Gate Road and State Route 12, Oakville. 12:48 p.m. Male subject told reporting party to move the train as it was blocking the crossing. Reporting party unable to do so. Subject began throwing rocks at the train and broke a window.
July 18
Noninjury accident blocking: 1361 State Route 12, Wynooche. 9:03 p.m. Driver lost control on the road. Says he was messing around, swerved at his buddy, who was driving by. Red Chevy Camaro is blocking westbound lanes. Eastbound lanes also blocked and guardrail damaged.
Code enforcement violation: 400 block of Cloquallum Road, Elma. 4:33 p.m. Subjects dumped garbage at abandoned residence next to reporting party. Last seen southbound on Cloquallum. Vehicle is small red pickup. Driver is 50-year-old white male with unknown clothing. This occurred previous night.
Check welfare: First block of Cummings Avenue, Malone. 12:06 p.m. Reporting party’s husband says people are coming through the walls. Reporting party thinks it’s a mental health problem and he needs help. Subject is eastbound on Mox-Chehalis road. Last seen wearing red jeans shorts. He was hit by a car in December and had blood drawn from brain. He has not been acting the same. He has been writing on the walls. Reporting party believes he will cooperate with law enforcement. Officer says he did not do or say anything that makes himself a danger.
July 19
Verbal argument: First block of Calder Road, Elma. 9:09 p.m. Reporting party’s mother and renter threatened to assault reporting party. Believe renter threatened to shoot reporting party after reporting party pushed him. No gun seen. Both parties believed to be intoxicated. Reporting party attempting to separate from other parties.
Trespass: 200 block of Simpson Avenue, McCleary. 10:21 a.m. Three males standing outside have been asked to leave. Two males left in van. Third male advises he was assaulted. Reporting party says they tried to rip some money out of his hands. No weapons seen. Silver van. Subjects took off when officer arrived. One in red pickup. Reporting party declining to provide statement, doesn’t want to press charges as he’s scared of retaliation. On recalling, victim wants to press robbery charges. Suspect showed up at his house in Olympia making threats to assault him and rape his wife. Police in Thurston County responding.
Agency assist: 100 block of Broadway Avenue, Montesano. 1:18 p.m. Reporting party requests help with bat nest in residence. Information forwarded to Health Department. Person has infestation in attic, so they were forwarded to wildlife nuisance resources through state Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Warrant service or confirmation: First block of Boat Launch Road, Montesano. 9:49 a.m. Boyfriend took truck and boat without permission. It is at boat launch by Mary’s River Lumber. He called her, she could hear him and female talking about a drug deal. Reporting party says there will be a fight. Taking of truck not reported. He has had permission to drive it before. He does not have a driver’s license. Reporting party advised to separate herself if he comes back. Does not want to pursue charges for taking vehicle. One in custody. Boat inspected. Two in custody. DOC felony warrant confirmed.
July 20
Domestic violence: (Address redacted) Montesano. 8:18 p.m. The son — a 16-year-old — of the reporting party’s fiance is tearing up the house. He had been chopping up the reporting party’s plum tree with an ax. He rushed the reporting party, knocking him down. Reporting party declined aid. Back window of the residence was broken with a bat, he also hit the reporting party with the bat. Subject still has bat. Subject is yelling at the reporting party. Unknown where subject is, last seen wearing black shorts, no shirt. Subject is tearing up the greenhouse. Unknown where ax is. There is a locked gun safe in the residence. Subject threatened to cut reporting party with knife. Subject is throwing hemp starts. Reporting party refusing to separate himself. (Redacted) is armed with a piece of PVC pipe. Subject is yelling at reporting party. Subject in custody.
Suspicious circumstances: First block of Hiram Hall Road. 11:34 p.m. Reporting party says she saw red headlights on her property and she believes there is a psychopathic male there. Reporting party says he is talking to her and calling her names but she didn’t see him. He had the voice of a high-pitched female and he sounded evil. He is now gone.
Animal problem: Brittain Road and Devonshire Road, Montesano. 3:41 p.m. Two large dogs were in reporting party’s driveway. They usually are fenced in on nearby acreage. It is unusual for them to be loose. Reporting party’s grandson chased them down the driveway and they tried to fight her dog. Her grandson fired a gun into the ground to scare them away.
Trespass: First block of Elma-McCleary Road, Elma. Racing fan has been asked to leave and he’s refusing. 20-year-old white male last seen wearing blue shirt. Reporting party says somebody said he was leaving. No longer need a response. Recalling, requesting law enforcement respond. Subject has not left. Is very intoxicated and sitting on the stairs at the front gate. Subject left prior to arrival.
July 21
Warrant service of confirmation: Milepost 14, State Route 12, westbound. Felony warrant is confirmed. One in custody.
Vehicle prowl: Satsop Boat Launch, State Route 12, Satsop. 8:35 p.m. Vehicle appears to have been broken into. Possible suspects left in white Taurus. Reporting party lost sight of them.

Recovery of stolen vehicle: 100 block of Third Street, McCleary. 502 a.m. One detained. Vehicle confirmed stolen. Three people in custody. Vehicle is missing tire, is full of items. Possible drug violation.
Harassment report: 100 block of North Main Street, Montesano. 2:31 p.m. Reporting party says husband is harassing and threatening her. Courts denied granting reporting party a protection order. Husband looking for reporting party. Reporting party believes he will kidnap and kill her. Husband is member of Hells Angles.
Vehicle theft: 7400 block of State Route 12, Oakville. 12:29 p.m. Equipment trailer stolen previous night. Gate is unlocked. Few people knew combination.
Citizen assist: First block of Clear View Drive, Montesano. 4:54 p.m. Reporting party is stuck behind yellow metal gate in Volkswagen Jetta rental. Gate near end of Clearview Drive. Montesano Police to let him out as GHSO doesn’t have keys.
July 23
Burglary report: First block of O’Donnell Avenue, Elma. 4:48 p.m. Unknown subject broke into garage and into vehicle and stole reporting party’s purse. Purse found in ditch near Cloquallum. Credit cards missing (have been cancelled). Occurred sometime overnight.
Harassment report: 400 block of Elma-Hicklin Road, McCleary. 10:18 a.m. Reporting party being stalked, says she was concerned about man messaging her via email. Messages not threatening. Reporting party wants him to stop contacting her. Reporting party advised of process of obtaining a no-contact order.
Traffic hazard: 1900 block of South Bank Road, Oakville. 3:43 p.m. About 20 cows in roadway.
Burglary report: First block of Hurd Road, Satsop. 8:01 p.m. Entry gained to shop, items missing. Door left open. Unknown suspect.
