If you’re driving between Olympia and McCleary during the day next week you might allow some extra time, the state Department of Transportation says.

According to a release, WSDOT crews will “remove potential hazard trees” along state Route 8 between Olympia and McCleary causing slowdowns and closures of the shoulder.

The work will be done between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
