• Stone Soup Artists open mic, every Tuesday, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at Organics 101 Market in Montesano (316 S. Main St.). Unplugged acoustic originals.

• A featured artist, duo or small group will perform at 9 p.m. every Thursday at Charlie’s Sports Bar in Montesano. To sign up as an artist, contact Wil Russoul, (360) 500-5334.

• Open pool table every Tuesday at the Elma Senior Center, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

• GriefShare Meeting, at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at Montesano Church of God, 317 E. Spruce St. in Montesano.

• Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support group meetings held every third Tuesday, 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen (420 N. Broadway St.). For information call Helen Morning Star, (360) 533-2277.

• The Grays Harbor ACLU meets the third Wednesday of every month for a potluck at 6 p.m. at Events on Emerson (212 4th St. in Hoquiam).

• Family Storytime. Wednesdays, 10:30-11 a.m. at Elma Timberland Library. Music, movement, and books for the whole family. All ages. (December-April)

• Bilingual story time at the Elma Timberland Library, 4 p.m. on Thursdays. Stories, rhymes and songs in spanish and English.

• Storytime Anytime. Through April 2017 at Oakville Timberland Library. Stop by anytime during open hours for a story.

• Come hear Bill Moyer of Backbone Campaign talk about Solutionary Rail. Ask questions and discuss the clean energy future the community. 6 p.m. at the Furford Center, 104 South Chehalis Street, Aberdeen. Solutionary rail is a Just Transportation proposal for a green energy future.

Entertainment

• Driftwood Players present “Still Life with Iris” written by Steven Dietz and directed by Alex Eddy. Tickets are $15. April 22, 28, 29, May 5, 6, 12, 13, 14. Friday and Saturday shows curtain time 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinee curtain time 1:30 p.m. Driftwood Theatre, Aberdeen.

• The Friends of Schafer & Lake Sylvia (FOSLS) present the Annual Trillium Trek at Lake Sylvia State Park. 1 p.m. at the kitchen area on the beach. April 22 is a Free Day at all state parks, a Discover Pass is not needed. Contact (360) 249-3621 with questions.

• North River Grange will hold a spring plant and seed exchange at 6 p.m. Event includes a potluck and features a guest speaker and a presentation by North River Junior Grange.

Entertainment

• Montesano Band Boosters is sponsoring thte annual Jazz and Desserts performance 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Monteano High School Commons. An afternoon of jazz, dancing and desserts. Admission is $5.

• McCleary Timberland Library presents Books and Blocks, 10:30-11:30 a.m for children. Songs, stories and play for children birth to 6 years with a participating adult.

Thursday, April 27

At the libraries

• McCleary Timberland Library presents Tech Help, 2-3:40 p.m. for adults. Come to learn or improve your basic computer skills, or bring your ipad, kindle, tablet or phone to discover the ins and outs of the device.

•Montesano Timberland Library presents PageTurners Book Discussion, 6:30-8 p.m. for adults. Join others for a discussion of “A Girl Named Zippy” by Haven Kimmel.
