Weapons offense. Brady Loop Road and Willis Road, Montesano. 3:40 p.m. Man in a white pickup driving around the loop road shooting at birds. No one has been injured. Reporting party was in a large field in the area hunting, not wearing orange as he’s duck hunting and you only wear camo for that. Vehicle left but is coming back.

Animal – dangerous dog. 100 block Devonshire Road, Montesano. 4:10 p.m. Neighbors’ dog has killed five of reporting party’s chickens, stolen a shoe and a dog bed. He has attempted to talk to the neighbors, no results. Secured the dog for potential dangerous dog.

Traffic accident. Elma Hicklin Road West at Elma McCleary Road, McCleary. 8:32 a.m. Two vehicle accident. Red Dodge pickup vs. red Dodge Caravan, non-injury, non-blocking. A stop sign was knocked down.

Dec. 23

Hit and run – property damage. State Route 108 and Tornquist Road, McCleary. 11:18 a.m. Red Ford Aerostar van hit stop sign at intersection and continued eastbound State Route 108 past few.

Dec. 24

Vehicle prowl. Cougar Smith Road at Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano. 8:58 a.m. Past 15, male in older red Chevrolet was attempting to break into the reporting party’s 2005 Toyota Tundra – reporting party’s vehicle is parked across from Green Diamond 7300 Line.

Dec. 25

Agency assist. Monte Brady Road and State Route 12 eastbound, Montesano. 6:26 p.m. Request check of area for green 1995 Ford Explorer. Vehicle hit bridge and turned onto Monte Brady past 1. Vehicle went eastbound.

Traffic hazard. Westbound State Route 12 and Monte Brady Road, Montesano. 7:10 p.m. Tire blow out – help coming from Westport.

Dec. 26

Hit and run — property damage. 900 block Harding Road, Elma. 7:23 p.m. Someone hit a power pole — all electricity is off now. Unknown type of vehicle.

Theft, vehicle. 700 block Elma McCleary Road, McCleary. 5:48 a.m. Was warming up her car, came back inside for a few minutes – 2002 black Hyundai Santa Fe just taken. Didn’t see a suspect. Has faded pin striping down the sides and faded paint on hood.

Dec. 27

Theft, property, other. 500 block Monte Elma Road, Montesano. 6:18 p.m. Gas drive off – associated vehicle white 2000’s F250 single cab – last seen toward Montesano. White utility bed on the vehicle. Two females in the truck, approximately $46.60 in gas taken.

Driving complaint. 500 block Elma McCleary Road, Elma. 7:09 p.m. Tan truck intentionally tried to run reporting party off the road as he was trying to go to his home.
