A quest of clues takes youthful participants on a brain-teasing tour of downtown businesses in the annual scavenger hunt Saturday, Dec. 8.
The goal: follow the clues to each location, where Dr. Seuss-themed answers await.
“They have to decipher the code to find out where to go,” said Sterling Savings Bank Manager Ken Albert. The quest begins at the bank, 301 S. Main St., at 3:30 p.m. Finish by 5 p.m.
Once the answers are gathered, return by 5 p.m. to the bank for coffee, cocoa and tea. Winners get a package of gifts for participating. Typically 40-70 kids participate in the quest.
