Fraud/Swindle/Confidence Game, Delezenne Road, Elma, 10:10 a.m.: Report of an email account hacked. Caller provided possible suspect information, believing it to be the daughter’s ex-boyfriend.
Animal Problem, W. Garden Hill Road, Elma, 3:49 p.m.: Report of a black lab dog that continually enters the caller’s yard and has chewed up an expensive bounce house and knocked the caller’s children over. The dog lives next door, and is not aggressive, but its owners refuse to restrain the dog. The dog owner was contacted and agreed to keep it restrained.
Criminal Mischief, Mox Chehalis Road, Malone, 12:12 p.m.: Report of a third attempt to break into a shop that contains a large amount of tools.
Friday, Feb. 22
Agency Assist, E. Brady Loop Road, Montesano, 8:01 p.m.: Report of a car that hit a cable barrier. The driver reportedly appeared to be intoxicated.
Trespass, South Bank Road, Elma, 3:05 p.m.: Report of a young man that keeps coming onto the property and bothering the caller by asking him to go somewhere. When the caller refuses the man leaves then returns, appearing to be under the influence. The caller is sure the man will steal something as people have told him that he is a “stealer.” The caller called the department again, saying that the man is refusing to leave.
Abandoned Vehicle, Highland Drive, Montesano, 3:58 p.m.: Report of an older minivan parked on the road near the caller’s property for the past two months. The caller believes the owner is in jail. The vehicle was tagged.
Sunday, Feb. 24
Driving Complaint, Murray Place, Elma, 8:22 p.m.: An anonymous caller reports that someone is required to have an ignition interlock in a vehicle he is driving, but he has bypassed the system and is believed to be driving it at the moment. The driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 2nd Degree and bypassing the ignition interlock.
Monday, Feb. 25
Theft, Vehicle: Other Type, E. Schouwiler Tracts Road, Elma, 9:33 a.m.: Report of a theft of a 22 foot RV from the lot overnight. Caller is the owner of the RV, which was parked next to the shop prior to the theft that occurred sometime since Friday night.
Burglary, Elma McCleary Road, McCleary, 8:14 a.m.: Caller reports a burglary that occurred some time on Saturday, which was discovered Sunday afternoon. The caller attempted to contact the Sheriff’s Office Sunday without success.
Suspicious Person, Mox Chehalis Road East, McCleary, 6:19 p.m.: Caller arrived to her mother’s house to find a man taking pictures for a “residence occupancy inspection,” or something similar, and has since left.
Tuesday, Feb. 26
Found Animal, Sunrise Court, Montesano, 4:01 p.m.: Report of an older female yellow lab found that showed signs that it had a collar on at one time, but isn’t now.
Missing Person, Delezene Road, Elma, 12:10 a.m.: Caller reports her juvenile daughter is missing or has run away. She reportedly left a note behind with suicide thoughts. The girl was last seen two hours ago. The girl reportedly takes mild anti-depressant medication, and has no history of doing anything like this. The girl arrived home shortly after the call was made.
Theft, N. Blockhouse Road, Elma, 10:27 a.m.: Report of people in a red pickup stealing railroad ties. The railroad was contacted. The affirmed that no one had permission to take the ties, and they are concerned that even if they are stolen, they can still be sued if someone becomes sick.
Custodial Interference, Monte Elma Road, Elma, 12:13 p.m.: Caller reports he has custody of his nephew and learned that a family member is trying to pick him up at the school. Caller request an officer respond to the school and ensure the safety of the child until his wife can pick him up.
Disabled Vehicle, Highway 107 at South Monte Road, Montesano, 3:23 p.m.: Report of 6-7 square feet of roadway missing in the south bound lane, and a vehicle with two flat tires.
Wednesday, Feb. 27
Suspicious Circumstance, Meadow Drive, Montesano, 7:23 p.m.: Caller reports receiving a suspicious text approximately a week ago that said something about burying a body. The caller is concerned it may be related to a news story about a missing person found buried in their yard.
Suspicious Circumstance, S. Heise Road, Elma, 1:47 a.m.: Caller reports someone pulled in her driveway, honked a horn and slammed a door. Caller’s husband, who is in wheelchair with a handgun, is checking outside. The caller now believes the vehicle is at their repair shop and not their driveway. The caller is looking at her surveillance cameras but cannot see anything.
Welfare Check, W. Broadway Ave., Montesano, 4:21 p.m.: Caller reports she received two letters from someone that she feels that could possibly be suicidal. The caller did not give any further detail, and the only address listed on the envelope was a city location. The caller reportedly kept hanging up on the department.
Agency Assist, Landberg Lane, Satsop, 2:51 p.m.: Report of an elderly man bleeding from his arm. Caller is reporting it from his neighbor’s house as he has no phone. Caller also requests contact in regards to the living conditions at the man’s residence.
Thursday, Feb. 28
Driving Complaint, Murray Place, Elma, 4:37 p.m.: Report of a man driving his vehicle without the ignition interlock attached.
Driving Complaint, Murray Place, Elma, 9:14 p.m.: Caller was asked to call when they saw the a man reportedly driving without the ignition interlock. The man had just left, headed into Elma. Caller is anonymous.
Theft, Malone Hill Branch Road, Malone, 7:03 a.m: Report of a Kindle stolen yesterday. Possible suspect information was provided.
Disorderly Conduct, Elma McCleary Road, McCleary, 8:21 a.m.: Caller reports his daughter has been evicted and is refusing to leave. He says she has a knife in her hand, and she could be heard in the background stating she’s getting ready for work. The department contacted the daughter who said he has been physically violent with her. The caller is hard of hearing and had difficulty hearing questions and was extremely upset that she was eating his food. The daughter left.
Suspicious Circumstance, Ash Road, Satsop, 11:01 p.m.: Report of a couple of men making a lot of noise possibly trying to break into the church. The men were contacted and are going home.
Burglary, South State Street, Oakville, 3:46 p.m.: Caller is calling from the casino as he has no phone, to report a burglary at his home. He suspects his ex-wife and said it occurred Tuesday night.
Welfare Check, West Fairview Street, Oakville, 7:30 p.m.: Caller reports her bother is living in his home without power or water and is a heavy drinker. She is concerned for his welfare.
Friday, March 1
DUI Alcohol or Drugs, Aldergrove Road at Highway 12, Montesano, 12:18 a.m.: One taken into custody for a DUI, and a request for a unit to transport the passenger into Montesano.
Warrant Arrest, Langabeer Road at South Bank Road, Oakville, 7:49 p.m.: Caller reports almost hitting a man passed out on the fog lane. Caller says he appears to be very drunk, and will stand by him with his flashers on. One was taken into custody.
