Sept. 19

Dangerous dog. Brady Loop Road W., Montesano; 7:26 a.m. Brown-white dog attacked caller’s dog and bit caller’s arm; is now chasing cows in a pasture.

Controlled substance problem. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 8:30 a.m. Arrest made on warrant.

Suspicious circumstance. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 6:13 p.m. Resident in jail; his trailer has been broken into. Woman on scene won’t go inside, but says the building is unsecured, not sure what’s missing.

Accident. Calder Road at Vance Creek Road, Elma; 6:15 p.m. Older tan Dodge in a ditch; appears to have rolled over.

Burglary. Lennon Road, Elma; 8:08 p.m. Believes someone gained entry through a window, stole three handguns.

Sept. 20

Fraud. Hotdog Lane, Elma; 12:44 p.m. Comcast called to say that more than one account holder is using their social security number.

Animal problem. Stillson Road, McCleary; 6:07 p.m. Husky-type dog has killed several chickens, sprayed with pepper spray and it didn’t stop the dog. Will try to work with a neighbor, who owns the dog.

Burglary. 600 Block of Middle Satsop Road, Montesano; 7:52 p.m. Someone broke into residence within the past three days, gained entry through laundry room window and tried to pry doors open. Unknown what’s missing.

Sept. 21

Noise ordinance violation. Evergreen Lane, Montesano; 11:14 p.m. Neighbors riding dirt bikes behind residence.

Sept. 22

Disabled vehicle. Capitol Forest; 4:48 p.m. Caller requests a tow out of a ditch; afraid he’ll lose cell service. Advised he needs to call his own tow.

Suspicious circumstance. Garden Tracts Road, Montesano; 5:41 p.m. A partially burned down home has attracted people looking for metal scraps. They have a flatbed trailer.

Sept. 23

Controlled substance problem. Holm Avenue, Montesano; 2:54 p.m. Neighbor’s marijuana plants are smelling.

Fraud. Elma-Monte Road, Elma; 3:36 p.m. It was found another person bought a house using their social security number.

Malicious Mischief. W. Broadway Ave. 12:54 a.m. Parked near Lake Sylvia State Park and someone broke his window of his vehicle.

Sept. 24

Noise ordinance violation. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 10:48 p.m. Request officer respond and have music turned down. It’s keeping everyone awake. Deputy says the music was turned down before he arrived and the owner has been warned again and told of the disorderly house statute.

Burglary. Tornquist Road, McCleary; 8:17 p.m. Someone broke into the home, unknown how got inside.

Suspicious circumstance. Val Vista Drive at Wynooche Valley Road; 9:06 p.m. Blue van parked on shoulder with a sign that says “UW or Bust” and another sign that says they need gas to get to the hospital for surgery and to leave the gas there; van appears occupied.

Sept. 25

Destruction of property. Malone Hill Road, Malone; 3:11 p.m. Female tore the phones out of the home, destroying the inside of the residence; threatened to burn the house down and destroy the car; has warrants.

Sept. 26

Burglary. Lynch Road, McCleary; 9:38 a.m. Forced entry to shop; ashes found on the ground, thinks someone may have been cooking meth.

Sept. 29

Theft of gas. Devonshire Road, Montesano; 12:47 p.m. Gas continually siphoned from vehicle. Hose and can left behind, but no usable evidence.

Traffic accident. Fairgrounds Road at Highyway 8; 12:53 p.m. One-vehicle accident. Car in ditch. They were eastbound, took corner too sharp, wrecked in the state right of way.

Civil dispute. 4800 Block of Highway 12; 6 p.m. 21-year-old granddaughter moved in recently; caught sneaking in a male. Kicked them both out. Calling police to seek options.
