July 11

Trespass. Barrett Road N., Montesano; 5:20 p.m. Neighbor coming on to property and taking pictures, resident wants him removed.

Burglary. 100 block of Garden Hill Road, Elma; 8:37 a.m. Chain saws stolen out of shop over night. No damage done to the shop.

Theft. Murray Road, Elma; 2:27 p.m. Technician requesting police escort regarding accusations of theft of power. The person who is stealing power has an unpredictable behavior.

July 12

Traffic hazard. Devonshire Road Bridge; 2:10 p.m. People are on top of the bridge waving a giant flag and protesting President Obama; proving to be a distraction to drivers, could cause an accident.

Theft of vehicle. Schouweiler Tracts Road, Elma; 1:14 p.m. Ford Ranger stolen.

July 13

Traffic hazard. Hiram Hall Road, Montesano; 8:31 a.m. Horse keeps going into the roadway. It’s an ongoing issue.

Accident. 82 Devonshire Road., Montesano; 2:13 p.m. Throttle stuck on truck and the 1977 blue half-ton Chevy pickup truck is now stuck in the river. Three people were inside the truck, including a 15-month old. The driver was able to get all parties to the riverbank safely.

July 14

Theft from vehicle. 1600 Block of Main Street, Elma; 11:35 a.m. Stereo stolen, damage done to vehicle; also advising that they came into his house and stole $60.

Bicycle accident. 50 Bush Creek Road, Elma; 2:26 p.m. Bicycle hits 25-year-old male. Knee injury, side pain, had issues breathing. He was on the side of the road walking.

Traffic accident. Forest Service Road 22 at Wynooche Valley Road, Montesano; 3:21 p.m. A woman drove vehicle into a tree and totaled the vehicle.

July 15

Animal complaint. Brady Loop Road East, Montesano; 8:34 a.m. Neighbor’s dogs keep eating her chickens.

Theft from vehicle. Schouweiler Tracts Road, Elma; 4:46 a.m. Owner of the car says someone was in his car right now. Nobody there when deputy arrives. Unknown if anything stolen.

July 16

Trespass. 500 Block of 17th Street, Elma; 10:12 a.m. Resident has had someone trespassing in his garage/shed the past few nights. Things have been gone through, but nothing appears to be missing.

Trespass. Devonshire Road Bridge, Montesano; 3:59 p.m. People are jumping off the very top of the bridge.

Burglary. Satsop School, Satsop; 1:39 p.m. School Building broken into, four laptops missing.

July 17

Juvenile problem. 1200 Block of Monte Elma Road, Elma; 7:14 p.m. Three teens were throwing rocks at respondent’s 2004 Mustang.

July 18

Theft. Murray Place, Elma; 3:27 p.m. Generator was stolen when resident was in jail.

July 19

Burglary. Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 1:18 p.m. Large equipment stolen from construction company.

July 21

Noise complaint. Murray Place, Elma; 12:36 a.m. Requests a deputy come by to quiet a neighbor’s loud music. Neighbor is playing Neil Diamond way too loud. And the noise is getting worse.

Theft of vehicle. South Bank Road at Porter Creek Road W. Elma, 4:42 p.m. Deputy in pursuit of stolen, faded two-door blue Honda. Following vehicle as it heads to a dirt road near the Capitol Forest. Honda a quarter mile up the road. Deputy talks to quad riders in the area, who tell him the car no longer has anyone in it.

Suspicious circumstances. 82 Devonshire Road, Montesano; 8:49 p.m. Caller “can smell death under the bridge, doesn’t know what it is but is certain something died under there.” Deputy checks it out and finds a bag of garbage.

Needles found. Old Wynooche Road and Wynooche Wishkah Road, Montesano; 8:02 p.m. Caller walking 12 corners from the bottom up, found a bunch of needles; placed them in a pop bottle and set them on the fence. Caller also concerned about the amount of recent garbage being dumped along the road.

July 22

Theft of property. Monte Elma Road, Elma; 12:31 p.m. Theft of motor from boat. Had intended to sell it, but it was stolen overnight.

Burglary. South Bank Road, Elma; 4:44 p.m. Burglary to house overnight. Not clear what was taken.

July 24

Theft of mail. 700 Block of Arland Place, Montesano; 6:15 p.m. Mail stolen.

July 25

Theft of vehicle. Hurd Road, Satsop; 5:45 a.m. Gray Dodge RAM pickup was stolen.

Alarm. 100 Block of South Union Road, Elma; 11:44 a.m. Intruder alarm sounding. Home owner went for a walk when the alarm went off. Dispatch says he just went for a walk and forgot to shut the connecting door to the upstairs. A cat went up and set off the alarm, “he’ll be having a discussion with the cat regarding this.”

July 26

Theft of wire. Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 6:44 a.m. Theft of copper wire and other items.

Traffic accident. A GMC pickup vs. a Honda Civic, which flipped over on its top. Driver had to be extricated.

July 27

Burglary. 300 Block of Monte Elma Road, Montesano; 12:16 p.m. Returned from vacation and found house was broken into, money stolen; also appears they stayed in the house a while.

July 28

Burglary. 400 Block of Stamper Road, Elma; 3:12 p.m. Just arrived home and found door open and three rifles missing. Checks are also missing.

July 29

Vandalism. Monte Brady Road, Montesano; 2:20 p.m. Someone crawled under home and cut the wires.

Trespass. Mox Chehalis Road, Malone; 4:06 p.m. Someone came on to property and stole the owner’s no trespassing signs; believes suspects were on ATVs.

July 30

Needles found. Bridge on Highway 12 at Highway 8. Pedestrians fought earlier in the day and a bag of needles were left on the side of the road.

Theft of wire. Fawn Lane, Elma; 1:24 p.m. Someone stole the wiring out of a construction site.

July 31

Animal problem. South Bank Road, Elma; 9:17 p.m. Horse is stuck in the creek, is not injured.

Animal problem. Belle Lane, McCleary; 5:12 p.m. Dog bit a 10-year-old boy. Father took the child to Elma for medical care.

Theft. 1000 Block of South Bank Road, Elma; 6:26 p.m. Someone stole fishing rods from boat parked on property.
