Agency Assist, Elma McCleary Road at Heise Road, Elma, 10:38 a.m.: Report of a disabled vehicle blocking traffic. The driver is slumped over the wheel and unresponsive.
Theft, South Bank Road, Elma, 5:59 p.m.: Caller reports the theft of a self-propelled lawnmower and cement mixer today. The suspect admitted he took the items to the scrap yard.

Civil Dispute, Powers Creek Road, Elma, 2:24 p.m.: Caller reports her ex-husband was refusing to return her car as divorce paperwork dictated. The caller retrieved the vehicle from where he was storing it and called the department to confirm it was OK.
Trespass, Powers Creek Road, Elma, 3:08 p.m.: Caller says his friend parked his vehicle on the caller’s property, and he returned home to find the vehicle gone. The caller owned the vehicle outright, and the property is posted with no trespassing signs.
Civil Dispute, N. 13th Street, Elma, 6:14 p.m.: Caller reports a motorcycle was stolen and is now in a local pawn shop. The motorcycle was not reported stolen at the time it was taken and the caller does not want to file charges.
Animal Problem, Riding Road, Elma, 9:41 p.m.: Report of a small herd of buffalo reported loose in the road. The owner was able to put them back into the corral.
Sunday, March 17
Disorderly Conduct, Monte Elma Road, Montesano, 3:15 p.m.: Report of a man screaming at a young woman. It was determined to be a verbal argument only.
Animal Problem, Sund Road, Elma, 10:43 a.m.: Caller reports that the neighbor’s dogs killed one of the caller’s chickens and injured several others. A deputy searched the area and was unable to find the dogs or the dogs’ owner.
Fire, Delezenne Road, Elma, 11:32 a.m.: Report of a shed on fire. A heat lamp caught a tarp on fire.
Juvenile Problem, South Bank Road, Ema, 2:14 p.m.: Caller reports a young teenage daughter ran away for the past two days, is now home and threatening to leave again. The caller says this is an ongoing problem, but this is the first time reporting it as she is staying gone for longer periods of time and refusing to come home.
Monday, March 18
Animal Problem, Highway 12, Montesano, 8:20: Caller has a pea hen that has been loose in her yard, and unable to get it to leave.
Suspicious Circumstance, Blockhouse Road North, Elma, 6:24 a.m.: Report of someone duct taped and being held hostage. A group of seven people are reportedly talking about overdosing him. The caller says it is a drug deal gone bad and something is going to happen before 6 a.m. When the call taker told the caller it was after 6 a.m., the caller said, “Oh no, it’s probably already happened,” and then hung up, refusing to give names.
Threatening, Mox Chehalis Road, McCleary, 10:51 a.m.: Caller reports that her neighbor told her that if she injured his dog, “There would be nothing left” on the caller’s property.
Tuesday, March 19
Harassment, Schafer Meadows Lane South, Montesano, 2:26 a.m.: Caller reports an ex-boyfriend she hasn’t talked to in years is texting her, saying he’s crazy and needs to be in a mental hospital. Caller has an order against him under her maiden name, and told the call taker he was going to “blow his head off” if he appeared at her house. The call taker advised her not to make threats, but the caller reportedly yelled at the call taker about how she is a dispatcher and knows the line is recorded.
Harassment, Church Road, McCleary, 11:18 a.m.: Caller reports an ongoing problem of harassment by the neighbor. The neighbor was recently filming the caller’s house, so the caller filmed him doing so on her phone. An anti-harassment hearing is scheduled.
Civil Dispute, Wynooche Avenue West, Montesano, 8:19 a.m.: Caller reports that her recently separated husband is taking items from the home, though she has asked him to wait until the divorce papers are filed and settled.
Civil Dispute, Wynooche Avenue West, Montesano, 2 p.m.: Caller and his wife separated a few months ago. The wife has changed the locks and is not currently home. The caller wants to go inside and get his belongings.
Assault, Simple, Schouweiler Road, Satsop, 9:05 a.m.: Caller reports her boyfriend just beat her, pulled her down onto the bed then choked her. One was taken into custody.
Wednesday, March 20
Theft, Highway 12, Elma, 1:41 p.m.: Caller reports two power saws were stolen out of the shop, which was unlocked the night before last. The caller gave $40 to someone who said she knows who stole the saws, but hasn’t heard from her since.
Thursday, March 21
Theft, Property, Vehicle Parts, Murray Place, Elma, 7:09 a.m.: Report of tires stolen overnight. The caller’s son is extremely upset and is on his way to confront the neighbor. The caller is concerned there will be a problem. The call taker directed the caller to have his son return home if possible.
Harassment, Evergreen Village Lane, Elma, 11:28 p.m.: Caller reports an ex-girlfriend has been calling and texting with harassing message and is an ongoing problem. The department suggested that he obtain a no-contact order.
Citizen Assist, Schouweiler Road, Satsop, 2:12 p.m.: A deputy spoke with a man in his 80s who had been driving but became disoriented. He told the officer that he hadn’t been home in days and appeared to be lost. He lives out of the area in University Place. His family was contacted to pick up the vehicle and the man was transported to an area hospital.
Friday, March 22
Assault, Simple, Remmen Road, Elma, 6:01 p.m.: Caller reports he is receiving threatening text messages from his roommates stating he cannot come back until he pays his rent. The caller says he is not current with rent, and they will also not give back his things. After the call, the caller reported being assaulted by one of the roommates.
Suspicious Person, Monte Elma Road, Satsop, 12:12 a.m.: Caller reported there were some people at the front door asking for a cup of water, The caller chased them off with a gun. The caller said they did not knock, but kept trying to open the door.
