Attempted Suicide, Blockhouse Road N., Elma, 3:33 a.m.: Caller reports he’s lost his money, is homeless and feeling suicidal. He said he relapsed yesterday and took speed, but nothing today. He said he’d be at the tracks before he disconnected. He was taken into voluntary custody and an area hospital was contacted.
Friday, Sept. 21
Animal Problem, Oak Meadows Lane, Oakville, 10:15 a.m.: Caller reports her dog had been attacked by something while being tied on her property. The dog has what looks like hot spots, and the department discussed the causes for hot spots. The caller said she had recently changed the dog’s food.
Saturday, Sept. 22
Theft of Property, W. Fern Street, Elma, 1:48 p.m.: Report of a riding lawnmower taken from a fenced yard within the past couple of weeks.
Sunday, Sept. 23
Disorderly Conduct, Elma McCleary Road, Elma, 10:25 p.m.: A large fight was reported in the parking lot with people yelling and screaming. Security staff has calmed things down.
Monday, Sept. 24
Suspicious Circumstance, Calder Road at Monte Elma Road, Elma, 9:33 a.m.: Report of drug paraphernalia under the bridge past the railroad tracks. Caller is concerned for his daughter who walks home from the bus stop. She has been having strange people harass her from the brush as she walks home.
Animal Problem, Murray Place, Elma, 10:34 a.m.: Caller has five kittens from her cat that she wants to turn over, they are approximately 3 months old.
Thursday, Sept. 27
Suspicious Person, W. Market Street, Satsop, 5:25 p.m.: A man reportedly driving a black limousine in the area lately made the caller feel uncomfortable.
Friday, Sept. 28
Controlled Substance Problem, Cloquallum Road, Elma, 3:31 p.m.: Caller reports that several other students say a student in 12th grade is eating pot Rice Krispie treats on the bus.
Saturday, Sept. 29
Fish & Game Violation, Delezenne Road, Elma, 4:30 p.m.: Report of a fresh elk carcass in the water. The ongoing problem is polluting the water.
Traffic Hazard, Elma Gate Road West at Highway 12, Oakville, 10:27 a.m.: Report of a train parked for the past two hours, blocking the intersection. The ongoing problem is normally for four or five days. The department contacted the rail company, which will see if it can move the train.
Animal Problem, Highway 8 West, Olympia, 6 p.m.: Report of a horse found with a broken leg on a logging road in the Capitol Forest.
Juvenile Problem, Wilkie Lane, Montesano, 5:46 p.m.: Caller reports daughter is missing or has run away. She went to the football game last night and was supposed to stay with a friend overnight. When the caller arrived at the friend’s house, it was learned she was never there. The daughter was eventually found.
Sunday, Sept. 30
Theft of Property, Tornow Drive, Montesano, 7:15 p.m.: Report of fishing poles and other items stolen sometime this morning.
Monday, Oct. 1
Lost Animal, Katon Road, Montesano, 11:29 a.m.: Report of a lost Persian calico female cat. The cat, named Thumper, is flat-faced, shaved, has no front claws and is microchipped. The owner said the chip probably wouldn’t have his information on it.
Hit and Run Property Damage, Old Wynooche Road, Montesano, 6:19 p.m.: Report of a hit and run that occurred in the parking lot over the weekend. Substantial damage was done to the front end of a truck.
Theft of Property, Riding Road, Elma, 5:20 p.m.: Report of approximately $3,000 worth of fishing gear stolen from the caller’s garage sometime in the past two weeks. Caller noticed the items missing on Saturday, but did not make the call then as he was going fishing.
Wednesday, Oct. 3
Suspicious Circumstance, Devonshire Road, Montesano, 10:12 p.m.: Caller was fishing in the river when he witnessed a man in a red SUV stopping in the middle of the bridge. The man got a large object out and dropped it into the river. The caller believes it may have been a body, but didn’t see it. The man then got back into the vehicle and took off fast towards Montesano. An officer was unable to locate anything.
Lost Animal, Alder Place, Elma, 11:53 a.m.: Report of a 8-year-old Yorkiepoo missing since yesterday. The dog reportedly went in the woods to play and never came back.
Harassment, Balch Road, Oakville, 4:14 p.m.: Caller reports they have custody of their granddaughter and the granddaughter’s mother has hacked into the girl’s Facebook account.
