Weapons offense. 200 Block of Devonshire Rd, Montesano; 5:24 p.m. White pickup truck occupied by several people swerved into respondent’s lane and caused her to pull over on to the shoulder. Got out of vehicle and she saw a person get out of the vehicle and pointed at gun at her; says she knows it was a gun because the suspect was in a “gun-firing stance.” -
Trespass. Lambert Road, Elma; 6:58 a.m. Caller can see figures on her property. She yelled at them and they yelled back that they had guns. Isn’t certain, but thinks there are three people; feels threatened.
Traffic accident. 600 Block of East Satsop Road, Elma; 9:42 a.m. A truck driver says he narrowly missed a collision by swerving and hitting many fence posts. Vehicle a total loss. Driver says he is not injured.
Theft from vehicle. 100 Block of Vance Creek Court, Elma; 12:27 a.m. Theft of two lap tops and a jacket taken out of respondent’s truck over night.
Shooting. 200 Block of N. 17th Street, Elma; 5:17 a.m. A police report in Elma states that a resident found a prowler and fired a small caliber weapon at the man and believed he hit the man. Later, police in Aberdeen found a 29-year-old man walking on Simpson, who had been shot by a gun. Police believe it’s the same man. The Sheriff’s Office provided agency assistance.
Suspicious person. 600 Block of Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 7:17 a.m. Deputy finds bloodied victim, who says he was jumped in the past 20 minutes. Refused aid. Highly intoxicated. No evidence at scene adding up.
Traffic accident. Highway 12, Mile Post 9 to 10, Montesano; 8 p.m. Not a collision, just a spin out.
Weapons offense. Monte Brady Road, Montesano; 12:14 p.m. Caller has been hearing gun shots repeatedly outside. There is now a male subject in camouflage firing randomly as he walks down the road. Deputy searched area and doesn’t find anything.
Theft from property. 1100 Block of Monte Elma Road, Elma; 12:27 p.m. A metal gate stolen from location in the past five days. Value less than $200. Insurance only report.
Traffic accident. 1100 Block of Wynooche Valley Road,6:04 a.m. Deer struck in the past 40 minutes; rolling vehicle into a ditch. Vehicle not able to run. Got a ride home, will return to tow out.
Dangerous dog. 1100 Block of Highway 12, Montesano; 8:40 a.m. 17-year-old son bitten by dog the previous night.
Simple assault. Meadowood Drive, Elma; 9:14 p.m. Assaulted by husband, broke a bottle over a table top. Refusing aid. Husband has been drinking since 10 in the morning; threw coffee all over her, held her down. Husband has gone to bed. Deputies take husband into custody.
Suspicious person. 400 Block of F Street, Elma; 7:07 a.m. Male subject outside of residents, confused. Told caller that he was high and doesn’t know where he is; decided to head to the bus stop.
Suspicious circumstance. South Bank Road, Oakville; 5:26 p.m. Had heard four loud explosions. Adamant it’s not fireworks, believes it’s dynamite in the area of Oakville near river.
Controlled substance possession. Oppelt Road and Powers Creek Road; 6:01 p.m. Blue car at end of cul-de-sac street with occupant acting oddly. Deputy checks and arrests individual for potential controlled substance/sale/manufacturing of cocaine. Car impounded.
Burglary. 100 Block of Firlawn Lane, Elma; 3:42 p.m. Possible burglary. Window broken out. House is ransacked. Unknown what’s missing.
Vandalism. Taylors Ferry Road, Elma; 1:56 p.m. Female neighbor is throwing dog feces in front of caller’s gate and into yard over the fence. Happens repeatedly.
Disorderly conduct. 500 Block of Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 2:02 p.m. Person things someone is out to kill him. When asked who, he gives phone to an employee and ran toward a mill. Maybe on drugs; has been running back and forth into the county road and back into the building saying repeatedly someone is out to kill him.
Dangerous dog. Montesano. Neighbor’s brown pit bull lunged at person. Went inside but threatened to go out and attack the dog with a shovel and kill it if the cops don’t show up in five minutes. Advised not to go outside.
Burglary. East Satsop Road, Satsop; 3:43 p.m. Items stolen from unlocked garage.
Suspicious circumstance. 200 Block of Powers Creek Road, Elma; 6:43 p.m. In the past 20 minutes, three young men were at her door, tried door knob. Asked them to leave and they left on foot.
Metal theft. Wynooche Valley Road. Industrial metal stolen, unique scrap items.
Stabbing. 800 Block of W. Martin Street, Elma; 12:39 a.m. Washington State Patrol has suspect in custody. Sheriff’s Office called for assistance. Several deep lacerations in victim.
Fraud/swindle. Courtney Lane, Montesano; 3:50 p.m. Has been receiving phone calls from someone identifying himself with a large software company. Now, somehow, someone has seized control of his computer.
Burglary. Winkelman Road N, Montesano; 10:13 p.m. Entry gained through back door. Items missing.
Warrant arrest. Linda Lane, Montesano; 12:18 p.m. Husband angry about taxes, punched a truck, has access to a baseball bat, threw a pop can at wife. Has anger issues. Arrested on existing warrant.
