July 31

Hazardous materials. Niels Lane, Elma; 8:11 a.m. Garbage bags full of elethine glycol found on property.

Animal problem. 800 Block of 10th Street, Montesano; 9:27 a.m. Ongoing problem with neighbors’ chickens coming on to property and messing up landscaping.

Alcohol offense. Wenzel Slough Road, Elma; 4:11 p.m. Six or more minors drinking alcohol at Vance Creek Park. Deputy responds and says they are of age and told no open containers in park.

Noise complaint. Keys Road, Satsop; 11:48 p.m. Request loud music be quieted.

Trespass. South Union Road, Elma; 7 p.m. Squatters on property with an aggressive dog.

August 2

Animal problem. 1100 Block of Highway 12. Ongoing problem with man abusing his dog. He hits it, chases it and throws things at it. Picked up a soccer ball and threw it at the dog.

Domestic violence. 500 Block of Elma Hicklin Road, McCleary, 6:13 p.m. Father punched her in the face, pushed her. Fight started over ownership of a truck. Deputy says there’s no evidence of bruising.

Trespass. 200 Block of Mox Chehalis, Malone, 7:10 p.m. Two men are gold mining in property owner’s creek.

Juvenile problem. Melbourne and Highway 107, Montesano; 10:38 p.m. Female calling to report there are reports of a huge party and bonfire all over social media. Deputy finds a large gathering — a “coming together of all the Harbor Schools” — and clears them out.

August 3

Suspicious circumstance. 100 Block of Hokanson Road, Elma; 10:42 a.m. Husband has laceration to the face. Wife doesn’t know where the cut came from, was just told to call.

August 5

Simple Assault. Mox Chehalis Road, McCleary, 10:26 p.m. 17-year-old female says she was assaulted by her father, has bruising on face and neck.

August 7

Accident. Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 10:30 p.m. Two vehicle collision. All declining aid.

August 8

Animals at large. 100 Block of Spalding Road, Montesano; 11:53 a.m. Neighbors’ cows and Texas longhorns are out again, has damaged fencing.

Burglary. 500 Block of S. 4th Street, Oakville; 3:08 p.m. Theft of laptop and table from resident; gained entry through window.

August 10

Noise complaint. 800 Block of Holm Avenue, Montesano; 4:29 p.m. Dog is always barking.

Theft of property. Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 10:10 a.m. Plumbing stolen from bathroom.

Disorderly conduct. 500 Block of Geissler Road, Montesano; 7:03 p.m. A 27-year-old man was thrown from a vehicle with possible broken ribs. Sustained injuries from an assault at Wynooche Wildwood.

August 13

Animal problem. 100 Block of Brady Loop Road E., Montesano, 11:56 p.m. Dog came on to property and was killing chickens so he shot the dog. Dog was injured and ran off. Dog owner upset and took dog to the vet to be treated.

Animal problem. 300 Block of Elma Hicklin Road, McCleary; 6:10 p.m. Neighbors horses were in her field, cornered another horse and gave her minor injuries.

August 15

Malicious mischief. 4 Rosemary Lane S., Elma; 1:27 a.m. Man taking a knife to the tires.

Animals at large. 15 Hotdog Lane, Elma; 10:03 p.m. Four horses are in the yard. It’s an ongoing problem.

August 17

Noise complaint. 1100 Block of Highway 12, Montesano; 7:14 p.m. Excessively loud music. Called twice. Advised deputies have been on other detail, but did respond and occupants promised to calm down in next 10 to 15 minutes.

August 18

Burglary concern.West Wynooche Road, Montesano; 8:48 a.m. Teenage female is home alone, heard someone attempting to get in back door. Locked herself in the bathroom; didn’t see anyone. Have dogs, but dogs didn’t bark for some reason. Aberdeen Police officer and deputy on scene.

Animal problem. 200 Block of Oak Meadows, Oakville; 11:02 a.m. Request contact from animal control; believes neighbor’s dog killed their cat.
