May 29

Dangerous dog. 600 Block of S. Newton Street; 2:44 p.m.. Neighbor’s pit bulls attacked respondent’s cat. Cat taken to vet and forced to euthanize.

May 30

Harassment. 100 Block of Hokanson Road, Elma; 5:28 p.m. Intoxicated man in house, threatening to kill another person. Is in the kitchen, where there are knives. Was throwing things. Deputies arrived and the situation has calmed down. One taken into custody.

Accident. Black Creek Road at Wynooche Valley Road; Montesano, 4:44 p.m. Two vehicle head-on collision, driver trapped. Aid arrives to help.

May 31

Domestic violence. 100 Block of Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 8:52 p.m. Respondent’s mother grabbed her and threw her against the wall and started punching her; is outside. Declines aid. Deputy finds incident not as reported.

Malicious Mischief. 1000 Block of Monte Elma Road, Satsop; 2:08 a.m. Someone kicked the back door in during the past five minutes; wood splintered.

June 1

Disorderly conduct. 500 Block of Monte Elma Road, Montesano; 12:29 p.m. Boyfriend, 35, is very intoxicated and won’t get out of the car. Girlfriend no longer wants to be around him. Boyfriend taken into custody for disorderly conduct and booked into jail.

Disorderly conduct. 500 Block of Highway 12, 2:25 p.m. Five transients squatting on property; yelling and screaming at the real property owner.

June 2

Dangerous Dog. Evergreen Lane, Montesano; 10:30 a.m. Boxer and retriever were attacking respondent’s goat. Animal control catches Boxer, who was hiding under a pickup. Other dog ran away.

June 5

Fire. 100 Block of Lucke Lane, Elma; 11:34 a.m. Garage fire. Black smoke seen in the air. No flames. House evacuated.

June 8

Theft from Vehicle. 100 block of Firlawn Drive, Elma. Navigational system and two sets of head phones were taken. Vehicle left unlocked.

June 9

Theft from Vehicle. 100 Block of Firlawn Drive; 6:25 p.m. Vehicle prowl of Ford Explorer. Stolen from this vehicle was a purse that contained credit cards. Fraudulent charges had already been made on some of the cards when the victim noticed the theft. Investigators are working on leads surrounding the charges. Vehicle left unlocked.

June 10

Fraud. Raspberry Lane, Elma; 10:36 a.m. Bought raffle tickets for a raffle that turned out to be fake. Buyer beware.

Disorderly conduct. 1000 Block of Mox Chehalis Road, McCleary; 7:04 p.m. Husband is intoxicated ans is throwing tables.

June 11

Burglary. 595 Brady Elma Road, The Brady Store; 12:31 a.m. Broken window found. Surveillance video apparently showed two masked individuals attempting to gain entry into the business which was closed and unoccupied at the time. Initial information was that nothing appeared to have been stolen nor was entry gained. Deputies will be working with the store owner to obtain copies of the video surveillance for further investigative leads. The department’s K-9 team responded to the scene, however, no suspects have been located at this time. It is unknown if the suspects were associated with any vehicle and there was no further description of the suspects other than wearing masks.

Noise ordinance violation. 800 Block of Englund Avenue, Montesano; 12:37 a.m.

Needle found. Highway 12 at Monte Brady Road; 9:44 a.m. Needles consistently being found, extra patrols requested.
