April 24

Theft of gas. 100 Block of Brady Loop Road E, Montesano; 3:34 p.m. Suspects stole gas from vehicles; neighbor interrupted theft and hoses were left behind.

Simple assault. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 9:45 a.m. Husband says he was assaulted by his wife and she damaged the trailer. He left.

Animal problem. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 4 p.m. A loose pit bull attacked and gravely injured a pit bull; concerned for kids in park.

Animal problem. Forrest Road, Oakville; 7:55 p.m. Dog that lives across the street and tried to bite when neighbor tried to get the mail; history of biting.

April 25

Theft of gas. 100 Block of Brady Loop Road E., Montesano; neighbor has surveillance of gas siphoned from vehicle.

Disorderly conduct. Elma Elementary, Monte Elma Road, Elma; 2:42 p.m. Fifth-grader out of control, left building and is refusing to get on school bus; not able to reach parents. He’s making threats to students to hit them.

April 26

Traffic accident. Camp Creek Road, Montesano; 4:02 p.m. One-vehicle accident; truck has spun out, air bags deployed; no injuries.

April 27

Animal problem. 100 Block of Arland Road, Montesano; 3:32 p.m. Horse up to its knees in the river, owner not known.

Theft. Schouweiler Road, Satsop; 3:50 p.m. Daughter took tablet without permission and loaned it to a friend and now the friend won’t return it and daughter was told she can’t come get it. What do we do? Told it’s a civil dispute, not a criminal one.

April 28

Suspicious person. Porter Creek Road W., Oakville; 1 p.m. Man staggering around, acting oddly; wondering aimlessly and acting very odd; may be on drugs.

Animal at large. Butler Mill Road at Highway 12, Oakville; 4:41 p.m. Eight loose cows on the railroad and five to six are actually on the tracks; train approaching. Whistle being sounded.

April 30

Animal problem. 200 Block of South Union Road, 10:12 a.m. Neighbors’ dog comes over to house and keeps taking items back to its home; advised it’s a civil issue, not a criminal one.

Burglary. Schouweiler Road, Satsop; 3:44 p.m. Burglary to garage overnight; someone used a hacksaw to cut the lock. Items missing.
