June 19

Traffic accident. 600 Block of Cloquallum Road, Elma; 6:35 a.m. Driver swerved to miss a deer and hit another car. No injuries.

Disorderly conduct. 4000 Block of Highway 12, Elma; 1:41 p.m. Woman refusing to take meds, in kitchen breaking things; ranting about conspiracy theories. Deputy seeking mental health evaluation.

Suspicious person. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 5:47 p.m. Man has been laying or sitting in the same spot since 7:30 in the morning.

Theft. Church Road, McCleary; 8:59 a.m. aluminum truck ramp taken. Unknown time frame. Heard something outside. Looked outside and didn’t see anything but heard three bumps at carport. Keeping doors locked.

Suspicious person. Monte Elma Road, Elma; 10:18 p.m.

June 20

Noise complaint. 500 Block of Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 9:01 a.m. Neighbor keeps laying on her horn every morning at 7:37 a.m.

Vandalism. Strawberry Hill, Elma; 2:28 p.m. Unknown subject tried to break into residence; damage found to door, lock, shed door and windows. Damage might be old.

Dangerous dog. Calder Road, Elma; 5:06 p.m. Two dogs attacked sheep. Shot into the air to scare the dogs away, but one stayed and charged the neighbor — and then ran away.

June 21

Burglary. Elma-McCleary Road, Elma; 8:04 a.m. Demonstration garden at fairground amiss; greenhouse broken into.

June 22

Noise complaint. 4900 Block of Highway 12, Elma; 9:22 p.m. Mariachi band too loud; unable to sleep or hear TV in her home.

Vandalism. Value Parkway, Elma; 10:42 p.m. Bricks have been thrown against former business’ windows; inner panes intact, outer panes have all been smashed. There’s also signs of pellet holes.

Fire. Lambert Road, Elma; 11:35 p.m. Brush fire caused by fireworks. Someone put fireworks in a mailbox and lit it. That’s what caused it.

June 23

Noise complaint. 15 Murray Place, Elma; 1:10 a.m. Loud music and loud voices.

Traffic accident. 2200 Block of South Bank Road, Oakville; 4:44 p.m. Accident happened near Oakville School.

June 24

Malicious mischief. Mountain View Lane, Elma; 6 a.m. Mailbox blown up during the night.

June 25

Animal problem. 1100 Block of Highway 12, Montesano; 7:56 p.m. Neighbor has more than 20 cats and they keep coming into respondent’s yard.

Simple assault. Camp Creek Road and Roup Road, Montesano; 2:28 p.m. Teen male says his girlfriend beat him up. Both have injuries, yelling at each other.

Malicious mischief. 2000 Block of South Bank Road, Oakville, 10:16 a.m.; Someone shot out the windows of the house in the past week.

Metal theft. 1300 Block of South Bank Road, Oakville; 5:37 p.m. Someone stole metal gate.

June 26

Malicious mischief. Ginny Lane, Elma; 1:08 p.m. Someone kicked in the cabin door and turned water on. Now, there’s flood damage.

Burglary. Strawberry Hill, Elma; 10:52 p.m. Someone broke into garage and stole the tractor.

June 27

Malicious mischief. 200 Block of Williams Creek Road, Oakville; 1:27 p.m. Neighbors damaged fence allowing cows to get out.

Suspicious persons. 100 Block of Lewis Road, Oakville; 3:32 p.m. Female sitting in the middle of the driveway cleaning a chainsaw. Man with no shirt walking and looking in the barn. Both suspects look very suspicious.

Burglary. Hotdog Lane, 10:46 p.m. Home broken into, comics and video games stolen; was able to track down children who took it, spoke to their mother and doesn’t want to pursue charges.

June 28

Harassment. 1100 Block of Highway 12. Ex-girlfriend is threatening current girlfriend on a daily basis.

Assault on police officer. Request officer respond to county jail in Montesano for an officer being assaulted.

Simple assault. Lambert Road, Elma; 10:01 p.m. Husband hit his wife in the face. Apparently, they were arguing on the couch and he told her he was going to hit her in the mouth. She said, ‘Go for it.” So, he hit her. Deputies arrested him.

June 29

Juvenile problem. Larson Road and Summit Road, McCleary; 11:36 p.m. Juvenile climbing on train cars and actively spray painting.

Dangerous dog. 1100 Block of Monte Elma Road, Elma; 8:41 p.m. Black pit bull attacked her puppy, who was in a kennel. Puppy’s ear got bloody.

June 30

Fire. Blockhouse Road at Highway 12, Elma, 2:59 a.m. Debris in the yard is on fire.

Disorderly conduct. 100 Block of Sund Road, Elma; 4:52 a.m. Man threatening to beat everyone up. Arrested on an existing warrant.

July 1

Animal problem. 1100 Block of Highway 12, Montesano; 12:11 p.m. Neighbor still has 20 cats — too much for the neighbor to care for properly.
