Animal at large. Hotdog Lane, Elma; 3:04 p.m. Horse is running loose eating garden. Told dispatch that if someone didn’t come take care of it, he would shoot the horse. Told to put the weapon away for officer safety. Horse eventually runs away.
Animal problem. Hotdog Lane, Elma; 12:34 p.m. Horse has been found. Owner notified.
Trespass. Grays Harbor Fairgrounds, Elma; 3:38 p.m. A group of people is attending the Relay for Life and say they are raising money for cancer. But they Relay organizers say they are not and have been banned from all Relay functions. They refuse to leave.
Credit Card fraud. Middle Earth Lane, Malone; 2:06 p.m. Home owner reports credit card fraud.
Suicide. Melbourne Road at Highway 107, Montesano; 10:32 p.m. Man had been reported missing. Found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Anyone in need of help should call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
Vehicle prowl. Conley Lane, Satsop; 9:22 a.m. Vehicle broken into overnight; wallet stolen.
Vehicle prowl. 300 Block of South 6th Street, Satsop; 4:08 p.m. Vehicle prowled overnight. change and car charger stolen. Vehicle was unlocked. The Sheriff’s Office advises everyone to lock their cars.
Burglary. 1800 Block of South Bank Road, Oakville; 12:16 p.m. Shop broken into; lock cut. Unknown if anything missing.
Suspicious person. 200 Block of Garden Hill Road, Elma; 8:43 a.m. Male dressed all in black, with hood on, “creepy,” walking down the side of the hill.
Neighbor complaint. 400 Block of Brady Loop Road; 5:19 p.m.. Neighbor continues to use his farm equipment too close to the county road throwing up dirt and dust, which covers everything.
Burglary. 700 Block of Elma McCleary Road, McCleary; 5:46 p.m. Vandalism and yard equipment stolen.
Accident. 500 Block of Elma McCleary Road, Elma; 5 a.m. Honda Accord rolled over in a ditch. No injury.
Trespass. Luscombe Court, McCleary; 7:46 a.m. Woman sleeping in the car, which is not so big of a deal. Has been doing this for a few days. Big problem is that when she wakes up, she relieves herself on the property where everyone can see. Advised by deputy to not come back.
Vehicle fire. Cascade Drive, Montesano; 8:53 p.m. Smoke seen from vehicle in a ditch.
Dangerous dog. 100 Block of Cedar Street, Oakville; 10:56 a.m. Neighbor’s pit bull keeps getting loose. Neighbor has a chain link fence, but the dog just jumps over it.
Vehicle prowl. Lambert Road at Beeler Lane, Elma. reported that her 2012 Ford F350 pickup had been broken into sometime during that week. It appeared the vehicle had been left unlocked and numerous items were taken including a Nikon camera and various lenses, a pair of binoculars, a TomTom GPS, and a fleece blanket that is dark brown/black with footballs.
