Theft. Address not known. Served a search warrant on property of a suspect who was booked in the county jail and retrieved evidence of a felony theft that occurred on N. F Street in Elma. Charges are being forwarded to prosecutor for review.
Drug arrest. 400 Block of N. 9th Street, Elma. Several Elma officers served a search warrant on a residence resulting in a felony drug arrest of a 25-year old Elma resident.
Reckless driving. 800 Block of E. Main Street, Elma. An Elma officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for reckless driving. The driver failed to stop and the officer initiated a pursuit. The pursuit was terminated.
Domestic disturbance. 600 block of W. Martin Street; 11:02 p.m. Domestic disturbance between a male and female.
Suspicious activity. Pacific Pride parking, 1:32 a.m. Suspicious vehicle in the Pacific Pride parking lot area. Officer made contact and found there are no problems.
Assault. 100 Block of Garden Place, Elma; 2:19 a.m. Assault complaint.
DUI emphasis. Elma. Elma officers initiated approximately 29 traffic stops during a DUI patrol, made one DUI arrest, one arrest for outstanding warrants and issued numerous traffic infractions.
Suspicious activity. Elma Library, 10:10 a.m. Suspicious person complaint at the Elma Library in the parking lot. Officer made contact and the subjects were told to move along.
Suspicious activity. Bayview Lumber, 12:36 a.m. Officer investigated suspicious circumstance near Bayview after seeing a subject looking into the windows of closed businesses.
Disorderly conduct. Elma Pharmacy, 9:01 a.m. Officer responded to a fight call in front of the Elma Pharmacy and observed subjects fighting upon arrival in the area. Once the officer arrived on scene, a man ran. After a short foot pursuit, the man was arrested for assault, resisting arrest, obstructing a public servant and possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail.
Burglary. Elma. Officer recognized suspect in a recent reported burglary in Elma city limits. Not reported which one. The officer initiated contact and the suspect was arrested for burglary and was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail.
