This police blotter is made up of reports made available by the Montesano Police Department.

Nov. 1

Suspicious person. 100 Block W. Broadway Avenue, 1:34 p.m. Male was using a slim jim on a purple PT Cruiser in the plot across the street. The car did not appear to be his vehicle. When the reporting party walked toward the plot the subject dropped the slim jim and walked on First toward Marcy.

Disorderly conduct. 300 Block S. Main Street. An intoxicated male is in the parking lot yelling at people while riding a bike.

Nov. 5

Controlled substance problem. 300 Block N. Church Street, 9:09 p.m. Request contact in the Vice Principal’s office referring student in possession.

Nov. 7

Counterfeiting/Forgery. 400 Block S. Main Street, 1:00 p.m. Reporting party advises her clerk received a counterfeit $10 bill last night.

Nov. 16

Suspicious person. 100 Block S. River Street, 3:02 a.m. Four or five teen boys in the area were on foot and appeared to be prowling around cars.

Accident. 200 Block E. Pioneer Avenue, 11:32 a.m. Ford F250 rearended Color Tyme truck. No injuries reported.

Nov. 17

Tobacco problem. Satsop Street and Kamilche Avenue, 3:47 a.m. Subject was smoking a cigarette and appeared to be under age eighteen when contacted.

Nov. 18

Littering/Pollution problem. 100 Block E. Broadway Avenue, 3:08 p.m. Officer advised there was a white substance coming from the bed of a truck at the location. The officer located a can of white paint tipped over in the bed of the truck, righted the can and advised the owner of the truck.

Malicious mischief. 500 Block Medcalf Street, 11:21 p.m. The brake lines on a Toyota pickup were cut sometime over the weekend. Brake parts were also taken.

Accident. 100 Block S. 1st Street, 12:08 p.m. Vehicle hit the building.

Burglary suspicion. 400 Block S. Fleet Street, 5:16 p.m. Reporting party advised that the lock portion of the door on the storage unit had been broken. The reporting individual also advised that the unit belonged to a person that he had kicked out of the unit and he was unsure if that individual could be the cause of the damage.

Nov. 19

Disorderly conduct. 200 Block W. Pioneer Avenue, 12:55 a.m. An individual was arrested for impeding the Fire Departments attempt to put out a structure fire.

Hit and run property damage. South 4th Street and West Arland Avenue, 7:13 p.m. An unknown vehicle, possibly a semi truck, hit a telephone pole and drove away.

Nov. 21

Malicious mischief. Church Street and Spruce Avenue, 10:32 p.m. Individuals were throwing eggs at the reporting individual when he drove past.

Nov. 22

Malicious mischief. 100 Block Main Street, 7:25 p.m. Four individuals addmitted to throwing eggs at cars on Nov. 21 and 22. One of the individuals was caught on video buying the eggs from Chevron. All victims just wanted their cars washed by the individuals at this time.

Nov. 23

Animal impound. 500 Block W. Broadway Avenue, 11:54 a.m. Individual reported a stray, sickly cat on her front porch. She believes the animal needs to be put down.

Nov. 24

Disorderly conduct. 300 Block S. Main Street, 3:18 p.m. Three individuals were fighting in the parking lot.

Burglary. 800 Block E. Elma Avenue, 9:30 p.m. A break in occured overnight. Entry was gained through the bedroom window and tools and a stereo were taken.
