Sept. 13

Criminal mischief. E. Broadway Ave., 11:10 a.m. “Horse Killer” written on business’ front door.

Sept. 14

Traffic hazard. Eastbound Highway 12 at Wynooche Bridge, 4:59 p.m. Gray sedan partially blocking the bridge.

Sept. 16

Juvenile problem. 300 Block of 3rd Street. Juvenile female came to the backyard of the respondent, trying to take her tomatoes growing in a garden and then made threats toward the neighbor. Teen told police she didn’t know the tomatoes weren’t on a neighbor friend’s property; was told not to go back to the location again.

Agency assist. 100 Block of S. River Street; 9:54 p.m. Person trapped in elevator; assisted Montesano Fire Department with the situation.

Sept. 18

Assault (simple). 2300 Block of E. Beacon Avenue, 12:42 p.m. Daughter and boyfriend are fighting. No weapons. One of them is bleeding. Woman is arrested for assault.

Sept. 20

Traffic stop. Montesano; 12:43 a.m. A patrol car passes the police officer’s position with no emergency lights on at a high rate of speed.

Sept. 21

Noise ordinance violation. Kennaston at Satsop; 12:50 a.m. Loud party, loud music and voices. Officer contact made with home owner and advised to turn the music down.

Sept. 22

Traffic hazard. Monte Brady Road/Monte Elma Road. Citizen report of malfunctioning railroad — gates down, arms flashing, no trains present. Maintenance person called.

Suspicious person. 200 Block of E. Pioneer Avenue. Male sleeping in front of store, sleeping in a blue sleeping bag. Police officer observed the man laying down in front of the store. Contacted him and he advised he had come to Washington because marijuana is legal. He advised he was trying to get to Seattle. Officer transports him to the Set Free Church in Elma.

Sept. 23

Suspicious person. 500 Block of S. 4th Street. Male subject at a shop across the street, throwing things. He arrived on a bike. Officer contacts suspect who is carrying a piece of rotten plywood; unable to determine where he got the wood as he was unable to speak coherently; advised suspect not to go back to where he had been.

Sept. 27

Disorderly conduct. 100 Block of S. Main Street. Teenage male and female arguing as they walk southbound on Main Street.

Oct. 1

Theft of property. 400 Block of McBryde Ave.; noon. Two necklaces stolen from residences. No further information in report.

Traffic accident with injuries. 1400 Block of E. Beacon Ave; 4:48 p.m. Car accident, 65-year-old man with a possible broken hip. No further information in report.
