Driving complaint. 100 block of North Main Street, 6:46 p.m. An aggressive driver was followed to their residence and questioned about their activity on the highway. The two parties inside the vehicle were mad at each other’s driving. It was logged as a road rage incident.
Found property. 100 block of South Chehalis area, 10:32 a.m. Montesano police investigation of a possible power theft, (suspicious extension cord), turned up a small cache of drugs and related items.
Following the path of the extension cord, a Montesano police officer discovered a purple Crown Royal bag that contained hypodermic needles and small bags containing a crystal substance.
The contents were logged and stored into evidence. The contents were listed as possible methamphetamine, .91 grams and seven syringes.
The power cord was not connected to any unauthorized outlet, but did run out of a window from one property to an adjacent carport, of another property.
Noise complaint. Kennaston and Satsop, 10:41 p.m. Individuals who were engaged in shooting off fireworks were advised of the city ordinance about firework use. Specific was the time of night, which allowed them to be complete by 11 p.m.
Civil dispute. 300 block of South Main Street, 5:45 p.m. Montesano Police were called in for a possible gasoline theft when a customer used a gas pump and drove off. Discussion with the customer noted that the pump does not always function correctly and was not sure if it was on purpose. The customer further added that the gas station needs to address the issue of the faulty pump. The customer later called to confirm that they returned to the station and paid for the gas.
Domestic violence. 800 block of West Cooper Avenue, 4:30 p.m. Arriving at the residence, police spoke with the female of the home who stated that her husband was yelling, calling her names, cursing and throwing things. The woman did not have any obvious marks on her face or body and the home seemed to be undisturbed.
The incident appeared to be verbal only.
Disorderly conduct. 500 block of South 1st Street, 1:11 a.m. An argument outside a coffee shop involving a man in a vehicle and a woman standing outside the shop, turned out to be an argument over sleep. The woman took a ride home from another party.
