This police blotter is made up of reports made available by the Montesano Police Department.

July 13

Domestic violence. 300 W. McBryde Ave. 4:54 p.m. Boyfriend grabbed the reporting party’s arms and is holding her back from being able to access the computer. Boyfriend was booked for assault.

July 14

Suspicious circumstance. 600 Block W. Pioneer Ave. 1:02 p.m. A report was made that a residence is vacant and someone appears to be living in the house at night. An officer observed a couch and items that appeared to show that someone had been staying there. Extra patrols were made of the area.

Harassment. 200 Block S. Glenn St. 9:30 a.m. Reporting party has been receiving calls from a number with a male voice with an Indian accent telling her she has a warrant out for her arrest from the government for being behind on her taxes. The individual is not behind on any bills or taxes.

Theft. 100 Block Brumfield Ave. 1:08 p.m. Television was stolen from motel room.

Noise complaint. 1700 Block Sylvia Lake Rd. 10:49. Campers were partying very loudly and yelling obsene things. The campers were contacted and advised of the complaint.

July 15

Traffic accident. W. Broadway Avenue and N. Main Street. 1:29 p.m. A traffic accident occurred, but no injuries were reported.

Suspicious circumstance. City forest. 4:06 p.m. Report was made of a blue Yamaha motorcycle that was stashed in the brush. An officer went and found the bike and discovered the back wheel was locked up. The officer contacted the owner’s family.

July 16

Malicious mischief. 200 Block S. 7th St. 8:05 a.m. A woman woke up to find tire tracks in her yard. The type of vehicle is unknown.
