This police blotter is made up of reports made available by the Montesano Police Department.

Dec. 14

Theft. 200 Block E. Pioneer Avenue. 3:01 p.m. Reporting person states that a phone and purse were stolen in the past 10 days from a locked Geo Tracker. Individual went online and tracked her phone to the Preachers Slough Area.

Dec. 15

Assault. 700 Block W. Pioneer Avenue. 5:41 p.m. Individual states that a roommate said he was going to punch the person. The individual left the location because the roommate was believed to be getting a knife.

Dec. 16

Suspicion. Back parking lot Montesano High School. 12:34 a.m. A vehicle was parked accross four parking spaces. The registered owner was contacted and said no one should have the vehicle except his wife and believes that an individual may be joy riding in the vehicle.

Found property. 400 S. Main Street. 4:38 p.m. Individuals found items stashed on property that don’t belong to them.

Possible theft. 400 N. Academy Street. 4:09 p.m. Individual advises her vehicle was gone through last night. No items were taken.

Dec. 17

Theft. 800 Block Devara Lane. 7:04 a.m. Individual reports her two vehicles were entered sometime overnight. The vehicles were unlocked and a couple of dollars in change was taken.

Theft. 100 Block N. Main Street. 9:12 a.m. Individual reports $27 in cash was taken from her wallet and within her vehicle overnight.

Suspicion. Main Street. 2:16 p.m. Report of a nude male. Subject was located and was not naked.

Dec. 18

Theft. 300 N. Church Street. 5:19 p.m. A cell phone was taken from a locker room. The individual used the “Find my phone” app and tracked the phone to an address, but the phone was not located.

Dec. 20

DUI. 300 Block S. Main Street. 3:50 p.m. Subject in white pickup hit a trash can and now is at location. Individual was arrested on a citation for DUI.

Dec. 22

Theft. Poplar Road. 9:08 p.m. Individual reported roommate’s friend stealing two cell phones and a PS3.

Dec. 23

Traffic accident. 1100 Block E. Cedar Avenue. Subject in a grey Dodge van just drove into his yard, hit a tree and a street sign.

Dec. 24

Suspicion. 500 Block N. River Street. 9:24 a.m. Individual reports someone knocked on door and asked questions about who lived there and if someone else used to live there. The subject also asked about neighbors and who may be living in other homes. The reporting party felt this was suspicious.

Malicious mischief. 400 Block W. Marcy Avenue. 11:13 a.m. A window was broken out of a vehicle. No items were taken.

Found property. 100 Block Main Street. 12:46 p.m. Individual found a bag of prescription drugs.

Malicous mischief. 400 Block S. 1st Street. 12:58 p.m. Individual reports someone threw hundreds of nails all over his lot.

Dec. 25

Theft. Poplar Road. 2:49 p.m. A cell phone was stolen.

Theft. 300 Block S. Main Street. 9:55 p.m. Speakers were stolen from a vehicle.
