Everett Neil Wadsworth, a longtime resident of the Harbor, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 in a fire at his home at Central Park.
“This was a horrible loss for all of us,” his son, Patrick said. “But we’re going to make Dad proud with a nice memorial.”

Everett was born in Warren, Minnesota on March 5, 1926. A U.S. Navy veteran, Wadsworth worked in the grocery business from 1947 to 2000. In 1952, he accepted the position of Store Manager for Safeway in Montesano. At one time, he also owned or co-owned the Aberdeen Thriftway and other markets in Centralia, Chehalis and Eatonville before selling all of his interests in 2000 and retiring four years later.
He is survived by his former wife, Caroline Langeliers; his daughter, Nancy (husband, Merle) Fellows; sons, Patrick (wife, Pam), James (wife, Hanna), Steve, and Paul; grandsons, Dominick and Mitchell Wadsworth, Samuel Jaramillo; and granddaughters, Ester Wadsworth and Brittney Trotter.
