Myrna Rae Smith
Lifelong Harborite Myrna Rae Smith passed away Nov. 1, 2013 at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia after a brief illness. She was 65. She spent most of her life in the East County area.
She worked as a bartender for many years in the Grays Harbor area and most recently as a caregiver, retiring several years ago.
A memorial potluck service will be conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov.16, 2013 at the McCleary Community Center on Simpson Avenue in McCleary. Please bring a written story, a special memory or a special photo as a keepsake for the family.
Funeral arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.
Melvin A. McMillan
MONTESANO — Melvin Alfred McMillan died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at his home in Montesano. He was 76.
He had been a stockbroker for the last 42 years.
A celebration of his life will be conducted from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Aberdeen Elks.
Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
TACOMA — Lifelong Harborite William K. Anderson died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, in Tacoma after a short illness. He was 63.
He worked as a body and fender man.
A service was conducted recently at St. John’s Cemetery in the Wishkah Valley.
James R. Madison
James Richard Madison, a resident of Hoquiam, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 74.
He had worked as a logger and yarder for Glen T. Anderson, J.T. Spradlin and Mayr Brothers.
Services were conducted recently at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
