Lillian France Taylor, 103, of Albany, Ore., died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at her home. She was born in Elma.
Arrangements are by Fisher Funeral Home of Albany, Ore.
Mary S. Novaselich Laier Large, 98, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Channel Point Village.
Mary was born in Hoquiam on August 2, 1915, to John and Antica (Svorenich) Novaselich, immigrants from Croatia, Yugoslavia. With her family, she moved to Aberdeen Gardens in the Wishkah Valley, and later moved to Brady.
Large graduated from Montesano High School with the class of 1933, and she graduated from Grays Harbor Business College in 1934. She and sister were affectionately known as “The Milk Maids” when they took over a dairy delivery truck route in 1933. She was also a florist and a seamstress.
A funeral was slated for March 25, 2014 at Harrison Family Mortuary with a graveside service at Fern Hill Cemetery.

Longtime Aberdeen resident Elizabeth (Betty) Joan Salmon died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 90.
Salmon worked at various employers, including J.C. Penny and Village Concepts.
A graveside service was slated for Monday March 24, 2014 at Fern Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen and Montesano.
Lucille Mix Sopko of Montesano, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at the Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 93.
Arrangements are being handled through Whiteside Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
