Montesano High School’s May students of the month were seniors Caitlin Quinn and Shad Rogers.
Quinn, daughter of Brenda and Tony of Aberdeen, is the secretary for the Montesano FFA, is part of the yearbook staff and has been involved with 4-H for several years. Quinn is also a member of the Montesano Equestrian team and is a member of both the Pacific Barrel Horse Association and the Pattern Speed Horse Association with her horse Kips Sundance. Quinn was also part of the Montesano cheer team for both football and basketball and plays varsity golf.
“I plan on attending Grays Harbor College and transfer to Eastern or Central to study psychology. I hope to major in psychology with a minor in criminal justice,” said Quinn.
Rogers, son of Kelly and Mike Rogers of Montesano, took a state title this year in power lifting. Rogers was also part of the Bulldog football, basketball and current baseball team, who are heading to state.
Rogers is also a member of the Honor Society and S.U.R.E club.
“After high school I plan to further my education and continue my baseball career with a scholarship to Columbia Basin Community College,” said Rogers.
