(Elma High School) Members of the Elma High School Winter Dance/Drill Team competed in Vancouver Washington on Saturday March, 14, in the District 4 Dance/Drill Championships. The Eagle High Flyers took 1st place in the Drill category as well as 2nd in Pom. Co-Captain Becca Heelan also took a second place medal in Drill Down. Head Coach Laurie Templeton praised the young athletes and the talent they displayed at this level of competition. The team has qualified for the State Championships to be held March 27 at the Yakima Sun Dome.
