Summit Pacific Medical Center celebrating birthday

The community is invited to join Summit Pacific Medical Center in celebration of its first birthday. Summit Pacific will be celebrating this milestone starting Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Friday, Feb. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day at the medical center at 600 East Main St. in Elma. Visitors will enjoy free tastes from Summit Pacific’s own Café Salute and can enter to win one of several great door prizes, including a chance to win two entries into the foundation’s Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament taking place at Salish Cliffs Golf Club in May. Guests will also be able to view a variety of displays created by staff to learn more about the medical center’s recent accomplishments and their goals for the future.

“It seems as if it was only yesterday that we were all gathered together celebrating our grand opening, and now here we are a full year later celebrating the completion of an amazing year,” said Lauren Day, Public Relations Manager. “We have had incredible support from this community and we are glad that we can invite them to come and join us once again to celebrate another milestone.”

Summit Pacific Medical Center registered its first patient on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013. The medical center’s cafeteria will expand services to serving the public beginning Feb. 18.

The medical center operates a 24/7 emergency department; a 10-bed in-patient wing; a swing bed program; a full-service laboratory with in-patient and out-patient services; a diagnostic imaging department that provides x-rays, CT scans, digital mammograms, ultrasounds and MRIs; and three family medicine clinics: Summit Pacific Medical Clinic, Elma Family Medicine and Mark Reed Healthcare Clinic.
