Bigfoot will appear in a big way this weekend when the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino hosts a two-day event known as the Sasquatch Summit.
It lines up some of the Northwest’s top experts in the fabled legend of the woods, including speakers such as Dr. Jeff Meldrum, an Associate Professor of Anatomy and Anthropology at Idaho State University. He is also an Affiliate Curator of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Idaho Museum of Natural History and Affiliate Curator of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.
The Sasquatch Summit begins Friday at noon and continues through Saturday evening. The cost is $5 for both days.

Another featured speaker, Ron Morehead (http://www.bigfootsounds.com) is the co-founder of Bigfoot Recordings, with an analysis of Bigfoot recordings. From Western Washington, the event will include Dr. Matthew A Johnson (“Dr J”) from Puyallup, a psychologist. On July 1, 2000, he had what is considered a “Class A” Bigfoot encounter with his family while hiking on a mountain above the Oregon Caves National Monument Park. After his life-changing sighting, he went public and described one of the most intense encounters ever.
