New wood shed for Lake Sylvia

Volunteers from the Schafer Neighborhood Adopt-a-Park group braved chilly and damp weather Friday morning to unload and install a new firewood shed for Lake Sylvia State Park. The shed was built, painted and located to the park by S.N.A.P volunteers and it is largely composed of material that was reclaimed from the park. The shed is now located in the space reserved for the park host during camping season. The volunteers who took part in Friday’s installation process were David Creamer, Russell Duvall, Arnold Hampton, Max Muller, David Pellerine and Mike Sinclair.
